UCT is my alma mater. When I graduated (a long time ago) it was still considered to be a good university. It's so sad to see how this once proud institution has gone downhill.
It's similar here in Indonesia, but here it's about religion. In the West, Islam is a minority religion and they have this term "Islamophobia" for anyone criticizing Islam and you may be called a racist if you say you dislike the ideology. But here in Indonesia, Muslims are the majority and they play a big role in politics. Non-Muslims here are often discriminated against by Muslims. The Islamists are also trying to use "Islamophobia" to get some support from Muslims, but looks like most of them don't buy it. They know they are just using their religion to gain political powers.
future education will not be done in universities perhaps not in schools too. and 1 of the reasons for this is the mistrust in authority that students really started to feel towards 'teachers ' and mentors in general that in reality they really won t deliver what they are supposed to
Wow, wow, wow. Where do I even begin to say how much this and many talks like this is needed in South Africa. What is sh!t show South Africa has become. This sure is a leftist horror house. No wonder everything is falling apart.
Finally, a new interview with Prof. Benatar!
It is always a pleasure to listen to Benatar.
Excellent interview. Congratulation.
If Prof. Benatar had any doubts about antinatalism before, he sure doesn't any longer
