Joanne O' Riordan, the 15 year old teenager widely credited with persuading the Government to perform a rapid U-turn on disability benefit cuts, shone with her inspirational attitude and positivity for life on The Late Late Show.
Being born with Total Amelia, in other words, born without limbs, she shows how having this condition doesn't bother her and shows exactly how she still lives her life to the full with heart-warming humour and honesty.

This young lady will go far in life. She's a beautiful soul!
She came 2 our school to talk 2 us few days ago...she was amazin'
Love her! who could dislike this, really.. the only reason I could think for not liking it is that it's not the full interview! want to meet her someday
What a truly inspiring person.
Joanne you are an inspiration to everyone, especially to us teenagers :) your sense of humour is incredible and you have the ability to do anything you put your mind too, im glad that i know you:) and what type of person would dislike this? obviously someone who is jealous and arnt as comfortable in their own body as Joanne clearly is in hers.. :)
She's my dad's cousin's daughter! She's amazing and has great spirit. We all wish her well.
I nominate Joanne to be the next companion on 'Doctor Who'! This gal kicks butt...as the Doctor would say, "Oh, you are BEAUTIFUL!!!"
i wish her the best of luck. a beautiful person
You certainly dont need any limbs to be an amazing person
I met Joanne in summer at ASLFL, what a complete legend! :)
Great stuff!! I would like to see the full interview but the link supplied above just takes you to the RTE Player. When I do a search within the player I don't get anything back. Anyone else have any luck?
You can Follow Joanne's New Documentary "No Limbs No Limits" by going to Facebbok and typing in the title above...and then clicking like on that page. She is truly a great person, desreves all the sucess in the world. Ireland is behind you!!!! I hope the world will too.
I think you have an amazing willpower Joanne! to go to rte. I tell u I wouldn't have it. and I'm also in a chair. But I also have a different disease, than you. Mine is Dystonia. and it affected my speech. So I'm using a lightwriter, as a speech aid.
Very beautiful!!!
how tall is she ?? :)
