I feel like if you don't really like the dior foundation finish that one but declutter the other two backups you have ... otherwise you'll suffer trying to use them ! And as you said , there is plenty of people interested in them so they wouldn't go to waste :)!!!
I agree with this! If no one needed them and they will go to waste I may understand going through that but knowing lof of people swear by it is no use to struggle
I love your videos! I get so much inspiration from you and it’s a good reminder for me to not get so influenced by all the new and flashy things because I know that I feel better with less clutter at home. Although always hard nowadays especially with Christmas and Black Friday coming up. Also love that your content is “slow”, like the old TH-cam days, makes me feel very calm and happy without the dopamine high🥰
IM SO GLAD YOU GOT TO GO TO THE CONCERT 🎉🎉 Ok so this is what I do, because I too am wary of repressing my products. But when they are not that broken, like that blush, I sort of half repress it. I don’t mash the whole thing up and drown in it alcohol. I just sort of put it all in the pan, spray it with alcohol just enough to make it stick, and then use the paper towel and my finger on top to press the broken pieces together. I find the trick is not pressing too hard, because that’s when I find the product’s performance changes. It’s still a bit delicate, like I wouldn’t travel with it or anything. But I just did this with a tarte blush I was so sad I broke, and it worked amazingly.
thank you :))))))) and some people have suggested half repressing it like you!! I think I'm going to put it into a couple of different containers and try different things haha
Ok now I’ve finished the video and I have 20 more thoughts: 1. You are CRUSHING your progress goals!! I can’t believe how big of a difference we’re seeing in the Mac highlight which is wildly impressive to me 2. I’m so glad layering mascaras is helping!! 3. I also hated Colleen Hoovers writing style when I read it ends with us but I used an audible credit to download verity forever ago and now it’s like.. ugh, do I just do it or do I never read it ever
Maybe at the end of one video I'll talk about my favourites of the year! I don't think I would do a full video about it but that could be a good way to do it :)
For me, I “repress” products by soaking them in alcohol, and only using the tissue to dab/soak up extra alcohol, but not actually press down on the product. I find this actually makes my products creamier and more pigmented!
@@laralikesmascarawhile itll never be as good as before you could try out dry repressing. Ppl say you need a bunch of stuff but ive dry repressed quite a few things just using a tissue piece of cardboard cut to fit the pan size laid on top of the tissue and then use something say a foundation bottle to put pressure on it and all around the edges. That way it wont mess up the formula. The only concern is that bc it would likely need to be crushed up to finer pieces it could be far more powdery.
@ ooh I’ve heard that too!! And the NYX epic ink I believe it’s called. I really love the physicians formula liquid liner (silver package) but I haven’t tried their brown so idk about the color. I have a brown gel liner so I need to get through that first but man I would love to get a true brown liquid liner
Ugh thank you for the book non-recommendation! I've never read Colleen Hoover. Everyone seems to love her but something kept me from reading her. I feel validated and it's not like my tbr has nothing else on it ;)

I agree with this! Life is too short to use makeup you hate!
you should try to repress the mac blush! i feel like if it somehow goes badly it won't be worse than having to deal with it being broken
It’s still usable as is and I’m worried that it won’t be usable if I repress it :////
There's a dry repress method (I'm sure there are youtube videos) that might work if you're nervous about the formula changing from repressing :)

Wow this is the best makeup look you’ve ever done you look so pretty and put together and classy I love it!!!
awe thank you!! I feel like people don't usually feel that hot pink eyeshadow is classy but I LOVE it so I'm glad to hear that lol

I know your main focus on this channel is makeup, but I would love to see a 2024 reading wrap up or your 5 star reads or something! ❤
Maybe at the end of one video I'll talk about my favourites of the year! I don't think I would do a full video about it but that could be a good way to do it :)
And thank you, I love when people comment on the book portion of my videos!!

AH I’m so glad you got to go to the TS concert!! It was literally the best concert of my life, I will never recover
That’s what I said afterwards, best concert of my life 😭 I had gone in LA but this one was still better!!
the crimes I would commit to be able to see her a second time
Hahahaahahahhaa 😅
Please update us on the Kiko lipstick when it's finally done!
Will do! I think it’s going to be this week already!!!
@laralikesmascara yeah 👍
I love the Maybelline rocket mascara as a second coat, I normally wear a volumizing mascara and then the Maybelline one to brush the excess of product
Repress the blush!! Its super easy and will make it so much easier - there are TONS of tutorials on YT/TT
I’ve repressed tons of products before they just never turn out as good as before :(

So glad you made it to Eras Tour!!
Thank you 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I’m so happy
I think this looks great! I can't believe you do your makeup in the car! I think I would get makeup all over the place! LOL!
Wait did I say that I’m so confused LOL I’ve never done my makeup in a car!
@laralikesmascara omg! I wrote this on the wrong video! Omg! I'm a bone head! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m not sure if it’s cruelty free but for your next brown liner I’ve heard the makeup by Mario is incredible!!
it is cruelty free I just googled! I do need to start doing research for my next liner haha. I've heard the font flyliner is great for a liquid brown.

I used to have the NYX one in black! I found it dried out pretty quickly though, and started looking navy :(
Ugh thank you for the book non-recommendation! I've never read Colleen Hoover. Everyone seems to love her but something kept me from reading her. I feel validated and it's not like my tbr has nothing else on it ;)
I’m glad I’ve read these two books just so that I am certain of how I feel about her writing, but that’s about the only reason 😅
yoooo earlyyyy.
loved this video, I would only add for people to read 'The Skin Radiance Recipe' by Mrs. D it helped me a tonn
It makes me depressed how many ppl love Colleen Hoover books lol. There are so many better authors out there. Feel the same about Emily Henry 🫢.
Oof I read one Emily Henry book and was so underwhelmed that I am not trying another. It wasn’t bad it was just so…. Mediocre…. So bland
@laralikesmascara yeah i don't get the hype. I also read one of each and no more for me 😆
