I LOVE LEDs. When I was in my first year of undergraduate, I always put LEDs on all of my skateboards. My longboard had some cheap LED torches duct taped to it, my pennys had small LED strips and LED wheels, and now that I have an Evolve Bamboo GT I can fully live out my Silver Surfer dreams...

Hey Michael, we offer a similar solution at boardblazers.com! Our lights come with the batteries included though so you don't have another battery pack to worry about.

What LED lights did u get
Where can I buy the front LEDs? Do you have a link for it?
How did that battery box stand up over time? I had the same one but the pounding it took makes the lights flicker now. I thought it was the connection but it seems to be the switch and the box.
I love the look! Not sure I want to cover my board in quite that much duct tape though XD

I found out they have these adhesive clips specifically for mounting the strips on amazon pretty cheap for anyone interested in doing this without duct tape

Thanks man! It's just one battery powered (AA) 5050 smd led strip, 2 metres long :)
Can you review the Ludwig Albert's if you have access to them? I've been curious about that series for a while

Go to an auto parts store and ask where the paint and body section is. In that section is going to be a roll of really expensive 3M double-sided tape about $12. That will secure anything and everything to the bottom of a skateboard :-)

Awesome stuff, I used to put lights on my board but the tiny LED's would always crack and break from freestyle abuse aha. Enjoy it man

Hey Adam! I'm looking to buy a pair of marimba/vibraphone mallets for under $100 and was wondering what you would recommend. I'm playing Flash by Matthew Hindson and blues for Gilbert so I would love to hear of any mallets that you think would be best for a performance of them. I have Inaki Sebastian's now but am willing to try something new :)). Again awesome video, anything you can offer would be super appreciated, thank you!
Ooooh I played Flash last year! Cool piece :) For blues for gilbert I think you can suffice with a weightier mallet - maybe the Gary Burton M25s from VF? If you mean one pair that can do both hmmm you'd have to probably go the route of Balter blues, but I'd spend a bit more and get maybe something like Van Sice for Flash and M25s for Gilbert :)
Hey Adam, thanks for the quick and detailed response :). I was wondering if you could please help me out with another thing. I need to do a 3rd piece for the HSC which was composed between 1945 - 1992 and was again looking to see if you had any recommendations. I'm not too confident with 4 mallet but wouldn't mind doing something if some of the material is repeated. I guess if the piece is slow it will make things easier but if you have anything that's 4.5 minutes long and a good contrast to the pieces I have (maybe with a small ensemble) then that would be awesome!! Keen to hear your ideas, thanks for your help so far :)

Hey man, congratulations on your purchase! I bought mine from an Evolve distributor but it's this one: www.evolveskateboards.com.au/products/serfas-trident-usb-led-front-light all the global distributors sell this light, but sometimes it's called the 'Thunderbolt' instead of Serfas Trident. Hope this helps!
