Thanks for the in depth take on our campaign guys…Just wanted to clarify a few things So we sold 4,700 copies of ‘See Through Blue’ not an insignificant amount at any point of the year I’m sure you’d agree. We’re fully aware that we’re behind the likes of TDC and MW, as most rock bands in the UK are, but also these bands have had the support and advice from good people in the industry whereas we’ve only just had access to them. Just to clarify, we did sell some shows out on our tour, not all granted, but with COVID cancellations and the having dates rescheduled on dates clashing with major festivals etc, it was difficult, especially coming straight off the back of the pandemic, where people were slow to start coming out to shows for a while. We have also headlined smaller festivals and been special guests etc with billings getting higher each time The record charting as it did, took us by surprise as it did everyone else. Due to the theme and albums content, with the political situation within the UK as well as the amazing marketing, it all helped Since then. we’ve been on tour with bands who are more established and have been growing our fan base by getting in front of people and playing shows, whilst we write the follow up to STB We’ve worked as hard as anyone and continue to do ao, to get to the point of where we are and keep learning and growing…
Hey guys, Great to hear from you and stoked that you watched the video. I hope it goes without saying that all of us at Riff Yard are 100% behind supporting bands like yourself in the UK scene and what you’ve achieved is an inspiration to countless artists out there trying to make it in a notoriously difficult industry. We’d love to get you on to talk about how the chart success of See Through Blue has impacted the band since the release for a follow up video. You mentioned some really interesting things in your comment about the support and advice you have got and we’d love to pick your brains about that too. Wishing you all the best, and looking forward to hearing more music soon! RYM
