its so hard to gauge players of today. they are victims of the nba shift from defense to offense. by giving to much freedom in offense, players of today doesnt do much defense.but one good thing happened, players of today really shoot well.
also time management. its easy to manage a 20 + points average because nobody wants to play 82 games anymore...
thats the reason they stop looking for the next Michael Jordan. instead NBA shifted its rule so somehow "WE" nba fans can see a similar MJ...
MJ is a beauty to watch, hands down. people back then literally stop whatever they're doing - to watch MJ play. "especially game 6 of the '98 finals. people around the world, our eyes were glued at the tv...
how MJ takes pride in playing even against the bottom dwellers teams...its so fascinating how MJ love the "game and the audience" how he respect the game and the audience. he really gave it all inside the court.......THANKS MJ.

This dude broke mostly all of these records faster than the players who set them.
He has excelled in scoring, rebounding, passing, defending, facilitating in ways that transcends all positions in basketball. On top of that, he’s got incredible speed, strength, height, athleticism and ball handling.
He is literally what any basketball enthusiast, teammate or fan would imagine if they were asked to think of the perfect basketball player.
I need the flaws, someone needs to list the flaws because I know there’s folks frothing at the mouth, grabbing the lowest hanging fruit just to simply finish the sentence “that’s why he’s not the greatest of all time.”

@@threephase71 4/10 finals championships doesn’t “suck”. 2007 had to be one of the worst overall teams to actually make it to the finals. It was Lebron with nothing more than some decent role players. The losses in 2017 and 2018 were against one of the most amazing teams the league had/has ever seen. I’m sure you know who I’m talking about. And hell, in 2016 he led the Cavs to beat the team with the greatest regular season record of all time.
Sure, 2011 against the Mavs looks bad on his resume, but that’s literally the only championship he SHOULD’VE won that he didn’t. And averages of 28, 10rb and 8ast on 48% shooting over 10 years in the finals is excellent. There’s so many superstars in this league who never even make it to the finals, and if they do it’s at a later point where they’re just role players. LeBron’s been the best player on his team in every year he’s gone to the finals, and that’s over the course of 13 years.

515 consecutive games (6 consecutive seasons) averaging 40 points per game. #2 in that category is Elgin Baylor with 33 games. Wilt also grabbed 25 rpg avg for those 515 games.
Some other unbelievable Wilt Chamberlain records:
Nobody except Wilt Chamberlain ever recorded a 30-20 season, he did it for career.
48.5 min per game for a season, 45.8 min per game for career (13 seasons), never fouled out.
45x 50+ pts in a single season (MJ has 31 for career, Kobe 25 for career).
128 out of 147 30-30 games ever recorded. That means the whole rest of the league any era has 19 combined.
Inofficial quintuple double: 53 points, 32 rebounds, 14 assists (24 blocks, and 11 steals).

I have been watching the NBA for nearly 50 years, and LeBron is hands down the best player that I have ever seen. It isn't a fluke that he was National High School Player of the Year two years in a row. He was on the cover of Sports Illustrated at 17, and he had a lot of hype to live up to coming into the NBA, but not only did he live up to all of the hype, he exceeded all expectations and earned the title "The Chosen One" because he plays the game the right way by sharing the basketball with his teammates. I really love watching him play, because I know he is going to make a great pass that leads to score, so defenses can't focus their defense entirely on trying to stop LeBron from scoring, because he gets just as much sastifaction passing the ball as he does scoring the ball.

However, the slight lack of variety in the visuals takes away from the spectacle of such a career. The people want to see what you're talking about. Especially in this digital world we live in these days.
Try playing around with some different clips to switch it up. There's an abundance of film and behind the scenes stuff out there. They want it all condensed into these types of videos!

Ppl intentionally not to mention the opponents
MJ played against, in that era Danny Ainge, Dennis Johnson, Jeff Hornacek, Mark Price…were stars.
Players were averagely more skinny, smaller, slower, only a few can jump high or shoot 3’s, no big man can dribble, no eurosteps, no shammgod. They played brute, but no skills. Hand check yes, but no zone defense, to which Kobe said “I don’t care if yo hand check with 3 hands” “the zone I think cripples some of the top scorers”
When prime MJ left the bulls in 93’ the went from 57 wins to 55, when prime LeBron left cavaliers in 10’ they went 62 wins to 19.
And MJ fans always lie about MJ stuff, for example "his vertical jump is 48 inches" and "his body fat ratio is 3%" If those were true, LeBron & Carter would have a 50 inch vertical jump and Helmut Strebl would have -3% body fat ratio.

Pls forget this bullshit with "the 57 wins to 55" that was the weakest one from ther 3 peat. 93 bulls were already worn out Jordan also had to through a lot with the media about his gambling issues and his father deaths and the pressure that long time no team won championship 3 times in a row. 91 bulls (61-21) 92 (67-15) and 93 ( 57-25) And people only compare 94 bulls last weakest year because somebody once said this in the media and they took it without question. This is cherry picking and writing narratives? Pippen bulls without Jordan is 55-27 and also in 1995 when Jordan still wasnt there but Horace left aswell they had 34-31 record then Jordan came back and immediately had 13-4 run this is how they finished 47-35.
Bulls without MJ previously in the last 3 years in 1982-84 had (34-48), (28-54), and (27-55) records Jordan arrived in the next year and immediately 38-44 record 86-87 still without Pippen 40-42 with a bad team.
And then in 87-88 they add some players not only Pippen was the factor alone he had 7 ppg come-on man they added also Horace Grant next year Cartwright, than BJ amstrong and this is how Bulls became a contender. Only a casual put wins and losses for one person which in fact depends on a whole team."
Unfortunatelly even if i wrote this down there will be still another guy with this bullshit "57 wins to 55" take.
Especially Lebron fans work like this. When Lebron wins it was all up to him only he gets the respect you dont talk about Wade Bosh, Kyrie Love, Anthony Davis and the rest, but when he loses you defend him straight away that it is not his fault and blaming only his teammates. If there is no Kyrie last made three pointer Lebron would have only 3 rings.
And not only Lebron left in 2011. But a bunch of other guys:
      Delonte West 8.8 PTS
      Shaquille O'Neal 12 PTS 6.7 rebounds 1.8 offensive rebound1.2 blocks
Zydrunas Ilgauskas 7.4 PTS 5.4 Rebounds 1.8 offensive rebounds
      Sebastian Telfair 9.8 PTS
Again narratives like if Lebron would be such a great impact on a team if he was enough alone for a team to be contender then why in his 2007-08 seasion when he avg 30pts Cleveland finished with 47-37 record?
Why the 2005-06 Cavs had only 50-32 record when Lebron had 31.4 PTS with also better shooting from the 3 point line. He wasnt in his prime?
Well then why the 2010 Miami (47-35 record) went up only to (58-24 record) If Lebron has such a great impact it should be between 64-70 wins at least especially with Bosh and Wade. for the 2012 Miami it goes the same. Only in 2012 they had 66-16 with an 80% winning. At 2014 they had only 54-28 so that just shows you Lebron is not enough alone despite of the fact that his real peak was from 2011-12 till 2013-14. Because he worked a lot on his game after that Dallas choking. That proves again that winning depends on a whole team. But the same goes for MJ, nobody has such a big impact like you guys think the one player worth 30-40 wins alone that is bullshit.
At least i apply the same logic to both of them i dont care that Jordan 6/6 because that is a team accomplishment. There are also a very good analytic video about 1996 that Rodman should have got the final MVP because Jordan and Pippen wasnt so good in that final but Rodman was brilliant in the most critical moments and i agree with that Rodman was robbed there. So Championships is up to a whole team. And even Lebron fans like to tell how Lebron elevates teammates aswell and yeah that was true one day not nowadays. But you can tell the same about MJ just listen to his teammates outgivings about the past time when they talk about MJ.
BTW if i watch only individual metrics Jordan far more superior than Lebron. I rather start it in another comment if it is really necessary. But it is no contest at all.
But First of all if you mention the rules. This is what i wrote in the Giannis 64 points Highlight video.
      watch?v=US9oMcx7Sno&lc=UgyKWsEJ5dEmShNyteN4AaABAg.9yI1pIjDIIH9yIZ47YI2Xu
"Basketball was always meant to be a physical game
Somewhat i agree with you thats why i miss the 80s-90s and even 2000s. But it should applied in both ways. My problem is the inconsistency in today rules. If you are an offensive player and any minor contacts initiated by a defender the refs calls the fault on almost each occasion. But if this happens what we can see at 3:56 that the offensive player bumps into the defender who is literally didnt even move forward it wont be called for an offensive charge. At the moment if they call every minor touch by a defender than this huge bump should be called as offensive charge easily. And even At 3:11 Giannis puts his elbows up and completely barrels thru the chest of the defender, no offensive charge was called BUT IT WAS A DEFENDER FAULT!!! for what? Serously you should ask yourself if you would be there as a defender what you should have done in these situation? Lebron and many other bigger mans does the same.
To be honest I dont want these bumps to be called as offensive charges because it would turn the game even pussier. But then refs should let the defense not to only be such a non factor not to treat offensive player like he was a fkn fragile thing what nobody can touch push or bump a littlebit. I would like this that let both side be more physical. Offensive players benefit too much of current rules and refereeing. It is not fair at all towards defense. The rules and a officiating has to be changed not because of me but because everybody feels there is something wrong with today basketball. NBA chosen a path because they think lot of points are good in order to achieve that they try as hard as to make defender immposible to defend offensive player are protected too much thats why the 30-40-50 points from a player in one game became so frequent it became inflated sometimes even role players drops between 40-50 nowadays. And you dont even have to be skilled because you can get away with travels and carries a lot in todays league like Giannis does at 1:45 and Lebron also does the same many times. like in this video at 0:21 watch?v=zR4Ldba3Rm0&lc=Ugyj6l-hT2GVefFYV2B4AaABAg"
Zone defense not such a big factor than in european basketball or in the NBA in 2000s because because of the 3s the pacing is lot wider and because of the handchecking and what i have said before the refereeing which protects the offensive player too much in today league. And btw teams hardly use Zone defense there are only several teams in the playoffs who really start to use it.

That's an incredibly flawed narrative. The difference between MJ leaving the Bulls and LeBron leaving the Cavaliers is that MJ won the year prior, and the Bulls won nothing without MJ despite having virtually the same exact team minus MJ himself, and LeBron didn't win anything while he was there, so what does it matter if they became even worse after he left, if they still couldn't win with him on the team? And Dudes couldn't "jump high" or "shoot 3's"? You have zero idea what your talking about. It's always the people that know nothing that always have the most to say.

Lebron is "declining" from the highest peak ever hence he is still playing at an elite level and putting up mvp caliber numbers. its really that simple. If MJ had a peak as high as bron then he wouldve still bin in MVP conversations in 2002 and 3 with ATLEAST 25, 5 and 5. and yes i understand he had years off in between but he is the goat to many people so expecting mvp level play from him in early 2000s is reasonable despite that break in between.

Lebron's can't be measured in 6 years so it's unfair to Jordan to even compare his peak to lebron's because lebron has been so good for so long that we don't realistically have a gauge of when his peak actually was. Turnovers are a secondary stat. Primary stats are points, rebounds, and assists. Bron blows Jordan out of the water on the primary stats. It’s not even close. Jordan has Bron beaten on the turnover stat. Probably because Jordan couldn’t assist and score. Jordan is number 51 all time in assists. So yes, Jordan beats Bron on this secondary stat. But Jordan should be beating Bron on secondary stats. He’s #2 in the GOAT discussion.

MJ struggled against the Bad Boys. He could have forced a trade to LA and played with Magic. Then, in 98, he could have joined Robinson and Duncan. Would that enhanced his legacy? Or did sweeping the Bad Boys and dominating the 90s on the team that drafted him, a team that won nothing before he arrived mean more?
LBJ joined a team with Wade and Riley, who already had a history of success. Then joined Kyrie. Then he went to the second most decorated franchise in the 2nd largest media market. And he still only has 4 rings to show for it.

But I'm not sure passing Magic or Nash while moving up the all time assist ranking should give him "record counters" just because they are high up on that all time list. There should only be one possible counter there to get in general. When you pass Stockton to become the new all time leader. Otherwise you could say he's got over a hundred or something because he passed whoever was in 100th place, then 99th, 98th etc, counting each pass as a record if we go by the logic in this video.
So that was just unnecessary record padding which doesn't need to be done on his behalf. The legitimate records he holds are impressive enough by themselves.

yeah, that's why he had to collude with other superstars to team up in order to win....and despite that colluding and tampering he still only managed 4 rings....not to mention turning former All NBA studs like Bosh and Love into glorified role players.....yeah, 'making others good' is a big misnomer....MJ was scoring 50 and winning more championships, so how the hell is Lebron greater? MJ is better in almost every respect in terms of their basketball careers - more accolades in half the time, better stats, way more dominant and also has WAY more people consider him the greatest than do LeBron, you are absolutely in the minority there with your opinion.....I mean, you only have to google 'greatest ATHLETE of all time' to see how wrong you are about LeBron being greater than Jordan.....it's actually both sad and hilarious how wrong you LeBron stans are

..and who told you lebron makes his team mates good.? or even the greatest ?
lebron is a fraud. he will ask the GM to - acquire this player...trade this player...draft this player. he literally gets the players and then he will get all the honors.!
thats a lot of BS. he never makes his team mates better, he traded them for what, the bron system.
lebron is 4 out 10 in the finals. even the bron system sucks...
lebron has the most turnover in the entire nba history..so you want to put the ball in his hands, who literally has the highest turnover. what BS..
bulls GM jerry kraus said - if anything i can say to MJ, he never ask me to trade a player..to draft a player...he damn well wants to win by himself.
MJ make use of whoever is his team mates. and he made a dynasty out of them. bulls dynasty ranks the best dynasty of all time ( google it)
whit MJ as their core, bulls won 6 times without any lost in the finals..MJ built a dynasty out of him...he is really the one who makes his team mates better. in fact he demanded it!
hence there was a bulls dynasty..the best dynasty.
if lebron is what you say that makes his team mates better...where is his dynasty team?!
