I first saw the video for this song just as the guitar solo was starting. I was hooked and knew that whatever guitar I bought, would be red and have a whammy bar on it. I ended up buying a brand new (in 1985) Ibanez Roadstar II (RS-440). I beat the hell out of that tremolo and it never went out of tune.

The amount of noise that is covered in the mix is kind of surprising. It’s a huge relief though, to know that you’re not doing something terribly wrong when you can’t eliminate every tiny little noise or buzz😅
