So many have no clue what this guy has done for the sport. Dana is a huge bully but to his credit he did make this sport what it is. I just don’t like how he treats certain people and significantly underpays the fighters. To think Jon Jones. The GOAT , defended his belt 16x which is unheard of especially at 200+ pounds, where 1 punch is a KO... Jon’s net worth is 4million and he’s the 3rd richest under mcLOSER and khabib. @@cillianomeara That's a stupid logic. There was far more nuance to that situation than something so black and white. Regardless of that, one mistake should not define a persons entire future. Dana White needs to learn how to grow up and move on instead of holding a grudge. Dana's real problem with Ariel isn't even about the Lesner situation. Dana doesn't like the fact that Ariel is a true journalist and doesn't just kiss his ass with softball questions. Dana doesn't like to be put on the spot with tough questions. Dana doesn't like having to tell the truth for decisions he has made that he gets called out on. Instead Dana likes to control the narrative and only let people know what he wants them to know. And no other MMA journalist actually challenges Dana. This is why he is such a piece of shit to Ariel. It's wrong and childish. Dana needs to learn to grow the fuck up and sometimes HE needs to answer for his mistakes. And journalists are there to hold him accountable by asking the tough questions. Ariel is a true journalist who doesn't always just ask the safe questions. He is willing to ask the uncomfortable questions to actually get the truth out there, even if it's inconvenient at the time. That is a person being true to their job as a journalist. Dana just doesn't like to be faced with telling the truth on how greedy and sneaky some of the shit he does. That's what is actually going on. The Lesner incident is just an easy scapegoat to excuse Dana's immature and shitty behavior. Ariel shouldn't be forced to do anything because Dana makes it difficult for him. Ariel should be able to do his job as a journalist covering whatever sport he wants. He shouldn't have to go cover basketball or football unless he wants to. Not because he has no choice in the matter. No one deserves to have some asshat putting roadblocks up and ruining their day to day job because he can't act like a grown up. Dana isn't special. He might be part owner of the UFC but he's just another human being. He isn't God. He doesn't get to ruin other peoples lives because he thinks he is better than you. No one deserves to do that.
