F2 should stop the loco aswell as play the sound, if not get in touch with Accurascale.
The horns are different depending on direction and are an accurate recording of the real thing which had a dodgy horn. 😅

Thanks Richard. I’ll follow up on the F2 issue. All that happens at the moment is that I get a brake squeal but no slowing down of the loco.

With sound distortion problems, other modellers have said that a thin piece of card either side of the speaker stops it sounding on the bodywork, Also sound levels on the CV set above 160 may cause problems, its a quick fix and worth a try... good luck. I've got Shap Fell, and Andromeda coming soon.

Hi did you have any problems running at slow speed? my loco wouldn't move untill at least notch 3 -out of 27. When slowing down it would run nice and slow at notch 1.

Evening. Sorry for the delay in responding. I haven’t had the chance to run the locos on my layout but I did notice when trying them on my short test track that they didn’t move until around 8 out of 100 which I think roughly ties in with what you found. Maybe there is some fine tuning needed.
