Thank you for the informative video! I bought the Elvie Stride but I get really low output with it, even after pumping 2*20min. If I pair the motor with other cups would this likely help? Which ones would you recommend? Thanks again!
This was a really helpful review! Thank you! I have a couple questions. My insurance will cover the Elvie Stride or an Elvie Stride 2 for just a small extra cost. It seems like that’s a really new pump and I’m not finding any reviews for it. Do you know if it’s the same motor as the Elvie Stride? The website lists 2 modes and 10 intensity settings vs the Stride’s 2modes/20 intensity settings. It looks like they may have changed the green silicone to another product? The only other difference I can see is more size options included. It lists 28mm breast shield and 5 sizes of flange inserts. I’m wondering if that means it can be used at a 28mm size since that’s what I’ve needed in the past with my spectra s1? I appreciate any feedback!
Oh! Also forgot to ask if it can be controlled at the motor without the app? And if it is as interchangeable with other pumps/cups as the Elvie stride like you showed in the above video?
Would the legendairy inserts work for these? I just took out my Stride and plan to give it another try this journey, but the tunnel was too short for my elastic nipples last time.
Thank you for the informative video. What dish detergent would you recommend to hand wash these parts? Also is there a specific brush / sponge you’d recommend? Thank you
Thank you, Jessica, for another very helpful video. I just saw your review video about the Elvie pump. So i have a question regarding using the Elvie stride with the app. Their website said its possible to use the stride without the app, but ill miss out on some important features (wonder which ones?). However i have an android phone. Does that mean i will also have many glitches like you like said in the Elvie pump video?
Any good way to figure out if the issue is the pump vs the cups? Would you try the cups with a pump you already like for example spectra to see if it’s the cups or what do you recommend
I would certainly recommend trying that in addition to triple checking bra fit, flange sizing, and alignment. You can also pair the Elvie pump motor with flanges to see if you just don't do well with the Elvie Stride suction.
I use the Spectra S2 for occasional pumping as I nurse for the most part. I noticed I get the most output on the 70 cycle. I’m going back to work in 4 weeks and don’t wanna lug around my Spectra. I’m debating between this pump and the Willow Go, which do you recommend that works similar to the Spectra?
It's never too late for questions! If you fit in the Elvie cushions there is a good chance it can work. If you don't we have more challenges to work with but overall the suction pattern on this pump when paired with that perfect flange fit tends to be a good option for elastic tissue.
Thank you so much for this review! Can you use this pump when you are a exclusive pumping mum, or don i still need a classic pump like the spectra s1/s2?

Thank you for this! Just ordered one a couple of days ago but I hadn’t watched any reviews yet.. So happy to hear it’s a quality pump! So excited.
Most end up liking up! Hopefully it is a success for you!

Do the zomee cups pair well with this pump?
Could the Stride cups be paired with the Zomee Z2 motor?
Elvie stride vs medella freestyle, which one would you recommend?
Probably Elvie stride ❤if the cups don’t work you can get the Medela cups

Probably!

I use dapple as my primary soap! I love that stuff! And I love the munchkin bottle brushes!

The app doesn’t have any special features for stride but it does let you control the pump. The stride is the same for android and ios

Can i use it as a primary pump??
It depends on your goals and your response to the pump
I know I'm late but hopefully it's not too late for a question, is this pump working okay for more elastic nipples?
