UGC NET-Research Aptitude -Part 1 -(Tamil)

This interesting video is about the second unit “Research Aptitude” in paper 1 for UGC-NET. This deals with the definition of Research, lists the characteristics of a good research and describes the various types of research. It discusses the various research paradigms and compares them in sets of two opposing research types like Basic versus Applied research, Descriptive versus Analytical Research, Causal Comparative versus Correlational research, Conceptual versus Empirical Research, Deductive versus Inductive Research, Innovative versus Incremental Research and Quantitative versus Qualitative Research. This topic will be useful for anyone interested in doing research and for students of B.ED, M.Ed, M.Phil and Ph.D and those wo are willing to crack UGC-NET in the very first attempt.
