District 4, of course, has a variety of cool underwater technologies as a result of their fishing background that were going to be repurposed for military use in novel ways for the dam scene and in other novel ways. This focus on waterborne agriculture actually led to the original working title for the film being “Blue Harvest.”

As somebody who doenst read much I wouldn’t have known Deathly Hallows was split up were it not for the title (and my mom being a huge potterhead) because each individual part covered so much ground. Here it’s blatantly obvious that there wasn’t enough material for two films
I was a big fan of House of Cards in 2014 so the most notable thing about this movie was that it was the first thing I saw Mahershala Ali in after loving him in that show before everyone truly knew how incredible he was

Oh hey, I was the skinny guy they CGI'd Chris Evans face onto in Winter Soldier (so that isn't me in this video, I only worked on the second movie). You'd be amazed how many tiktok comments I've gotten from people that think I'm lying because they're convinced that Chris Evans just lost a ton of weight for the role. I don't know how they don't realize he's also like a foot shorter in his pre-serum state, but I think people just want to believe what they want to believe because the idea that he'd get down to like 100 lbs is insane to begin with.

I enjoyed the Hunger Games movies. They were not perfect but they were good enough. The one thing that I never understood was why the governments troops did not defect to the citizens side? Didn't all of the soldiers come from the districts?
This was the first entry in the series to get a 3D release. While Mockingjay pt 2 received a fairly decent 3D post conversion, this entry had a pretty shoddy conversion that was apparently rushed out and was only ever released in Germany on blu-ray.
Can't forget The Hobbit for taking this splitting books thing to the extreme.
