In a renewed call for peace, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to resolve the conflict with Ukraine through talks. In a big diplomatic win for India, Russia agreed to free the Indian nationals recruited to fight the war in Ukraine and facilitate their return home after PM Modi strongly raised the matter with Putin.
