- Actor Emraan Hashmi is the guest of The Lallantop Baithki this time. Part 2 episodes of his Disney Plus Hotstar show SHOWTIME are streaming from 12 July, 2024. In this candid interview with Saurabh Dwivedi, Emraan talks about his earlier days; how he met wife Parveen; when he was dropped out of Shiamak Davar dance school; start in Bollywood as an Assistant director on the sets of Kasoor and Raaz; how Mahesh Bhatt saw an actor in him for the first time; the Govinda movie which was to be his debut project but couldn't happen; and how he gave 40 takes for the first shot of debut film Footpath.
He also talks about the Koffee With Karan episode where he said Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is plastic and how he is a big fan of her's and stood before her vanity van for 3 hours after the release of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. His controversial anecdotes with Bipasha, Ameesha Patela and Mallika Sherawat. Emraan fondly remembers Shah Rukh Khan coming on to the sets of Murder and giving him all the best. His bond with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt. He responds to the sequel anticipation of Jannat 2 and Bard of Blood series among fans and the controversy around Captain Nawab movie. The true nature of intimate scenes in Hindi films. Many funny moments also took place during this chat, like when he was asked the 'ghostly' link to Himesh Reshammiya's Jhalak Dikhla Ja song.

When Imran Hashmi came to Pakistan for Awarapan, I got his original poster signed and kept it safe in my locker. Unfortunately, I lost it during shifting. Still I miss that and value it. Love from across the border.

Emraan Hashmi ki film chale na chale but songs super duper hit. Awarapan, Zeher, Jannat, ABA, Gangster, Murder, Aksar, Tum Mile etc... so many musical superhit movies.
