Imagine if they target us filipinos next. Full blown triple damage

Disney: "African Americans?"
"They've gone through enough"
Me: that and my moms a vet, she would literally kill and take down Disney.😅😅😅
Honestly it feels like they’re actively avoiding it at this point… like they did princess and the frog and ducked out
I’m glad we’re getting some diversity tho… turning red probably did the best with making really diverse background characters so far
@@cryingwatercolours8127 I love princess and the frog, (super cute and the music is great) but it did hurt a bit when my cousin pointed out that the first Black Disney Princess was a literal frog for most of the movie.

Im Hispanic but I was a mess after Turning Red because it describes my relationship with my mom.
I love my mom but I do deal with the same problem of never being able to please her
I was a preteen in 2002 so I related to the girls -hard-. Luckily, my mom and I have a very open and close relationship so no drama there, but the fanfiction, tomogachi, boy band, weird sexual awakening she was going through was exactly how mine went, give or take.
Seriously, anyone who will experience a period/know someone who will should see this movie. It feels like "Inside out" except for puberty for girls.
My daughter and I enjoyed Encanto but it was surface level. Turning Red has turned into a series of deep conversations about family pressure, periods, mental health, embarrassing situations, friendships, etc. We are Puerto Rican.
