It's musically and lyrically connected to I'm Fine. They reversed the music and make it more upbeat to fit the meaning of saving yourself through self love. @@aznsweety yea, I don't blame them. You get preprogrammed from being assimilated into the western music scene. And lyric translations a lot gets lost because they use Korean idioms, word play and some poetic analogies. I usually find out if translators have notes done and I'm learning Korean.

I love Save Me and I Need U so much. I instantly knew the songs, loved the remixes they did on them I wished they were singles the way the guys danced to them! 😍
It was cold and rainy. They did comment that despite the overcast sky, they thought it made for a better video. It added to depicting a mood. Glad you noticed the camera man also had to work hard. He had some choreography of his own so that he could properly film the correct angles and views. As hard as the boys work, they do appreciate the work the staff and crew put in. In one video clip, J-Hope was commenting that the staff worked so hard. He himself was on the shooting site early but he also knew the crew had been there hours before him, getting things in order. Of course, the crew will also be there hours later. I like that they are appreciative of their staff.
I feel like BTS lyrics never addresses any person or situation in particular, they are gender fluid and could be for ARMY, lover, friend etc. You like it for you own moods and life.
They are times where they are like "I need you girl" but with how their songs are, they don't feel gender fluid. It could explain a part of why they're very popular.
I feel like Taehyung grew into his voice. Now, when you see him older and a little buffer it's easier to think that such a deep voice comes from Tae, but when you see old videos from when they first started and you hear a super deep voice come from a baby face it's ridiculously shocking lol.
They did it many times even after practice if they aren't satisfied with the result even with just small details. Yes, BTS is the real deal in every aspect. Their work ethics are unbelievable and their love for music is just undeniable. A group that creates songs and lyrics that gives and makes a person see the light at the end of every tunnel, who are very active in producing, writing and more for their music, and a group who has one dream and will keep on achieving those dreams together every single damn time, COMES ONLY ONCE IN A BLUEMOON. I cherish and love these boys so much for many reasons just like every ARMY who loves the boys unconditionally. As RM said, let's keep dreaming the best dreams together. It's why they ironed Jin in Fire! Because he was the oldest one and supposedly most mature. The younger ones are trying to figure out how to "iron" and be more mature, but the whole point of Fire is to let go and not worry so much^^

I really love this particular song because even without having all of the extra bits (props, effects, etc) it's still such a beautiful, raw and emotional song. For me it just goes to prove that the boys don't need all of that for them to be the incredible performers that they are. Rule of thumb with BTS, it’s not a love song. Their lyrics, especially when consumed in Korean, make it clear that the lyrics can be applied to all types of relationships, with a lot of them focusing on themselves and Army as the subject.

A cool thing about this music video, if you notice, not only is it one long take, but every time during the choreography, if they jerk in a direction, the camera gets pulled along, if they reach toward you and pull, the camera zooms in with each pull. It's like an interactive experience, making you feel like you're physically connected to the song and choreography. Amazing camera work.
This song is directly related to the BTS universe; the lyrics are about each other and needing/wanting to be saved. Hence the "Boy Meets..." In the end, it directly correlates with "Boy Meets Evil" from wings. This song is the bridge between the two albums. It makes so much more sense once you know the WHOLE storyline. The great thing about BTS' "Love" songs they leave it open for all different forms of love and interpretation.
Too me this songs is about Army's relationship to BTS. They know fame does not last forever. It the love that Army gave to BTS that taught BTS to love them self.
You'll find that since the beginning BTS mainly (not exclusively) use the same small in house production team made up of their CEO Hitman Bang (Bang Si-Hyuk) Slo Rabbit, PDogg, Hiss Noise, Supreme Boi, RM, Suga and JHope. You will mostly see at least one of them on every song. (Bang Pd and PDogg are award winning producers.) I feel like it's a key to their tremendous success. They know each other so well and are highly talented. It's really amazing the number of beats they've created over the years!

You can probably interpret Save me any way you want. I think it`s ARMY they are talking too. RM is saying "you" gave me wings". In multiple songs and speeches, BTS and RM have said: "ARMY/you gave them wings to fly with". As well as saying that we should be "ourself" not yourself or myself. It`s a song about being lost and alone as if you are worth nothing and you are desperately asking someone("you") for help. And I`m Fine is the continuation of this song, so I highly recommend watching it:)

Also, anytime you see a Bangtan Bomb or BANGTAN Episode, chances are really high that you’ll find the translated episode on Bangtan Subs. Fun fact: Quick Style choreographed most of this number. It’s one of faves. 💜
That MV is one of my favs it’s almost my #1 MV which is always a struggle lol. I love how all their MVs are so detailed and the transitions. This one just simple and beautiful.

Save Me (like most of their songs) is about ARMY and how our love has saved them from their darkest and lowest moments. But you could certainly make it about whomever and whatever you want. Also, if you love seeing the Behind the Scenes, you should watch them for some of their other videos. Fake Love is a really awesome one to see how they made it. They used very little CGI. Same with Mic Drop. Most of their fires and explosions were very real. And Fire, too. I feel like Blaze would definitely enjoy seeing those MVs as well as the making ofs.

I love watching the making of video for this. The one question I've always wondered is how many times did they have to do it to get the final take. Just thinking about having to start completely from the beginning each time makes my head swim, on top of all the running around they did following the cameraman and staying out of the shot. It really gives you a new appreciation for all the hard work and dedication that goes into it all.

I would definitely recommend 'I'm Fine' along with 'Save Me', but I'd suggest making it a two-clip video of the lyrics and one of live performance since it doesn't have an MV.

A cool thing about this music video, if you notice, not only is it one long take, but every time during the choreography, if they jerk in a direction, the camera gets pulled along, if they reach toward you and pull, the camera zooms in with each pull. It's like an interactive experience, making you feel like you're physically connected to the song and choreography. Amazing camera work.

This song is directly related to the BTS universe; the lyrics are about each other and needing/wanting to be saved. Hence the "Boy Meets..." In the end, it directly correlates with "Boy Meets Evil" from wings. This song is the bridge between the two albums. It makes so much more sense once you know the WHOLE storyline. The great thing about BTS' "Love" songs they leave it open for all different forms of love and interpretation.
Too me this songs is about Army's relationship to BTS. They know fame does not last forever. It the love that Army gave to BTS that taught BTS to love them self.
You'll find that since the beginning BTS mainly (not exclusively) use the same small in house production team made up of their CEO Hitman Bang (Bang Si-Hyuk) Slo Rabbit, PDogg, Hiss Noise, Supreme Boi, RM, Suga and JHope. You will mostly see at least one of them on every song. (Bang Pd and PDogg are award winning producers.) I feel like it's a key to their tremendous success. They know each other so well and are highly talented. It's really amazing the number of beats they've created over the years!
Actually, if you noticed BTS's Fake Love mv, there's 'Save me, Im fine' written into something. (I can't remember, im still recovering from amnesia)
What I love about this video is the simplicity in it but the complexity. It looks simple but this was a well choreograph one shot video.

Personally the Jimmy Fallon performance is my literal fave but the lyrics when compared to save me are so.. Satisfying.

You can probably interpret Save me any way you want. I think it`s ARMY they are talking too. RM is saying "you" gave me wings". In multiple songs and speeches, BTS and RM have said: "ARMY/you gave them wings to fly with". As well as saying that we should be "ourself" not yourself or myself.
It`s a song about being lost and alone as if you are worth nothing and you are desperately asking someone("you") for help.
And I`m Fine is the continuation of this song, so I highly recommend watching it:)

Just a tip: on TH-cam theres a bunch of channels that add English subtitles to bts videos, so just look up the video title + eng sub and you'll probably find it. I recommend bangtan subs, they do it very well and they've been around for a long time so they have a most of their videos with subs available.
The song "Save Me" can be interpret for like, a scream for help, to Army or to anyone in specific. Is a song to anyone feels like inside himself, and them we have the continuation of this history that is the song "I'm Fine" who talks about we need some help sometimes and if we support each other and see that we have persons to help us, them everything it's going to be fine, we will be fine, we already are.

Save Me (like most of their songs) is about ARMY and how our love has saved them from their darkest and lowest moments. But you could certainly make it about whomever and whatever you want.
Also, if you love seeing the Behind the Scenes, you should watch them for some of their other videos. Fake Love is a really awesome one to see how they made it. They used very little CGI. Same with Mic Drop. Most of their fires and explosions were very real. And Fire, too.
I feel like Blaze would definitely enjoy seeing those MVs as well as the making ofs.

I love watching the making of video for this. The one question I've always wondered is how many times did they have to do it to get the final take. Just thinking about having to start completely from the beginning each time makes my head swim, on top of all the running around they did following the cameraman and staying out of the shot. It really gives you a new appreciation for all the hard work and dedication that goes into it all.

This just goes to show you how hard they actually do work. They are actually outside, in the pouring/hailing/ freezing cold & dancing in sand & watching the camera's to make it's done they want it. Where other's probably would do this in doors with a green screen. That's one of the many reason I love these boy's. And i always love your guy's reactions to the boy's
