Question- how do you do the video so the clay forms without your hands showing?
I manually edit out every frame of footage that has my hands in the way :)
So what happens if that pink stuff is left to dry by itself?

Do u put your resin in a pressure pot?
I do for castings where the resin needs to be glass-clear, like eyes. For Godzillla's fin it was okay to have some bubbles and cloudiness; it helped defuse the LED's.
