- Welcome to my Compact crafting base, it is designed around my villa builds.
This is a full how to build tutorial with a structures list.
The build is 12x12, I tried to make the best use of the small space and managed to incorporate an aviary, crop farm, hatchery, indy forge and lots of storage.
You can build this in any material Stone, wood, adobe or a mixture of all 3.

I have the foundation set up plans then a speed build of the foundations going down.
Then I have used screenshots for the tutorial with an explanation of each part of the build along with the dimensions.
I have also included a full speed build of the base going together after the tutorial.

I adore this design and I'm in the middle of making this on Official PvE (PC).
Edit: Took me 4 days of supply harvesting, and about two days building. It's done!
I love the space here!
I just built this base, my main recommendation is to always bring a little bit more materials because your gonna make some mistakes, and really just be continually rechecking your work as you go. Other than that it was a fantastic creation well done.

Love this design, just finished building it on a pve server, it's so awesome! Took me a while and a few annoying ceilings at the edges made me have to put more pillars under so doesn't look as neat unfortunately. Still love it, lots of space for everything and looks amazing. Thank you so much!
I always enjoy your music choices. You are very talented, esp with combining the limited building structure types. Your desert and water builds tend to be my favorites. I was traveling out through the desert of Ragnarok this evening and noticed how quite it was, peaceful, and the stars in the sky. I think I am going to build there next. cool tutorial but u didnt really show me everything i got lost more then a few times because i couldnt tell where u was at or wat u was looking at since so much looked similar then wen u back away its like a transformation

Loooooove this! Giving it a go this weekend. Miiiiiiight use metal and stone instead of Adobe and wood. Also thinking about backing it up to water and adding a small marina. All your stuff is awesome! Can’t wait to see that renovation build someone else suggested. 🙌

im gonna make this my main crystal isles base I fr love the design it has everything i want in a base.
With s+ mod you can make stone walls and transform it to adobe, wood, etc and it will hsve stone wall durbality

I built this two years ago on Crystal isles, but I’ll be building it in ASA in a couple weeks, without the catwalks and adobe etc.

I read that you like building as you go, record it and then try to make a video on it, but this just isnt working as a tutorial.
Its a confusing mess for someone who doesnt know you or what you were thinking.

Think you can redo the whole thing with step by step instructions, systematic working and a full view after each step?
That wont work with your old footage tho. You'd have to record it with a tutorial in mind.

im having trouble with the wooden porch bit in the beginning, following exactly what is shown with the pillars and fence foundations but cannot get around the foundation support issue.

Tbh, I would have "centered" the well into the build gap by adjusting the build to make sure it was centered in that foundation gap. My only fuss. Lol
it’s a nice build sure, but you didn’t specify the direction you were building, and i’ve noticed that random things were added in between steps that weren’t mentioned. some people may have been able to follow through but i wasn’t able to :/

On the pathway leading from the greenhouse, the center catwalk facing outwards will not show me to place and says it needs foundation support. Wondering how you got it to snap. Beautiful build, I’m about 99% done

Amazing build, Pilgrim. There any way you could do a build on Valguero at 54.3 LAT 52.7 LON. It's where the Farm ruins are. Would love to see something there.

On the list it says "Wooden windows = 60" but it doesn't say how many Wooden Windowframe so is it 60 as well?
Currently working on this build but on Ark Mobile. Nearly done. But running into some hiccups such as per foundation height limit.. This is an amazing build, Pilgrimz.
Mate you have some amazing builds but your video tutorials are hard to follow.
If I might make a helpful suggestion to improve on your work.
Voice over or text over explaining exactly what you're doing. Half the time I feel like missed steps because your video jumps

I'm already lost on the wooden ceiling "porch" coming off of the base stone foundation. If someone could explain how to get it past the "foundation support" problem on the PS4, it would be highly appreciated. Like, when and on what do you press R1 or triangle? I'm lost.
I just spent like almost 9 hours collecting materials for this build on solo mode and I was really looking forward to having this super gorgeous villa house.

i think i have the same problem after i put down 2 ceilings and add the stone fence foundation and the pillar i still can't pit down the 3th ceiling it is only possible when i put down a pillar in the middle of the 2nd ceiling

The freaking foundation plan you put up is wrong, now I have to do everything all over again. The right wall infront isn't 4 its 5.

Are the pillars needed for the build or not
I play on a server and they don't allow pillars cause of lag
what's the point in the greenhouse. It don't work with the buffs
Hey I doubt you will see this but what should I do if I don't have sloped Adobe roofs and sloped walls?
If you don't have adobe you could use Stone or wood, or even thatch, I think all 3 would look just as good on this design 👍

i just want to say i built majority of this in just the little slideshow in the beginning, never realizing that there is a step by step process so yea

Oh my god I'm halfway done building it and only just now realised that there is more that the slideshow, I already pulled all my hair out 😵
Great design but the tutorial was frustrating. At 5 minutes in I had already spent over an hour on the build because of just trying to figure out what you were doing. Please give better views and instructions on what you are building. Having to guess how you did those walls made me not want to finish.
Sorry about that, there were times in this build where I did not back off and get a proper screenshot for the tutorial. I had to go through the video and pick moments to take a pic and try and explain the next step. I get ideas for build but I don't really plan them out, then I get carried away building and forget I need to make a tutorial from the recording

Lovely build, but the video is terrible. If you make mistakes then edit the video. Don’t let us follow along to make the same mistakes.
Watch the video first before u start building and remember the mistakes. I agree the quality could be improved but with amount of time and thought into this build we have no right to complain either. Plus it can be easily countered by watching the video and taking note b4 u build
