Recently got back into Ark on ps4. Will definitely be building this as my main base one I've gathered the materials. Will use stone instead of Adobe though as I'm on the Island map.

Another awesome build. One thing though if your building this. @23:42 if you're have trouble getting sloped roofs in. I removed one wall and threw a thatch sloped wall left in, got my roofs in then removed slop wall and replaced with adobe wall. Just repeat as you go around. Thanks again Aaron, my 5th build of yours.

@Prominent Hero pvp is player vs player, while pve is player vs environment. Pve you cant attack or raid other bases

This is a real cool build! I chose it for my new base on Crystal Isles (Wander‘s Hope on that cliff overlooking the river) and changed the interior design up a bit, such as omitting the first floor to create a real big room on the ground floor (workspace) and I placed an industrial forge in the middle hehe. Snap points gave me the hardest time though aaah. I totally messed it up at some point but somehow I made it work and the triangle glass roofs on top kiiiinda matched in the end - at least way better than when I did a similar build for the first time (the big kibble farm) lol ^^ Thanks for the detailed tutorial Aaron!!

I seen a lot of building videos, in Sims, Conan Exiles, Fallout, other games, and i always love it. But i never seen any artistic building in Ark.
Even though I couldn't stay up to watch the whole build, it is amazing - you couldn't live in it on scorched earth because of all the wood and glass, but it looks great - I'm going to try this out - tks for sharing

Wow started at 3pm and now ending at 6:14. Was such a fun build to find and create in my single player ark!! I didnt do the grind for all the building materials though, I didn't use creative mode, I just spawned in all the materials I needed from admin commands, nevertheless, it was still a joy to build!! I never cheat on SP unless it's for something like this mega build!!!! Great Job and Many Thanks for sharing such an awesome peice of Ark Architecture!!!

If you have island and se you can build any way, besides the boas fights for tek. You can. Build any of his builds.

All finished and I love it! One thing though, somehow I ended up with 6 outbuildings/quarters instead of 5. I guess there's a guest quarters for you Aaron if you ever wanted to visit our server. XD
He says 5 because if you follow his steps exactly, the outbuilding just above the stairs will have no entrance.
The building above the stairs was def the problem. I just put a door and a ladder there and used it for my own quarters. I gave the other tribe members the proper rooms. Seems like such a waste of space not using it.

On the first foundation you placed, is that placed on a celing? How are you able to put foundations on top of Celing tiles? or what is that thing you are placing the first foundation on top of?

Stupid question maybe but do you run any mods to help with building? I STRUGGLE with snapping & rotation issues. I know your videos are edited but things always seem to just snap perfectly. When I use E (im on pc) I may get 1 or 2 rotation options but even then things just seem to snap randomly. Thanks for any help or advise you can offer.
on the pillars around the outside, if you're using S+ you can place a ceiling, press G to enable corner snapping on the pillars, and then pick up the ceiling once you're done.

At the step around 13:14, that set of foundations going around, i realized i chose a bad spot to build. im building this on scorched at 60.7/52.6. i have a square foundation that wont connect. ive used ghost to slide under the ground to try but it seems that the unlevel nature of the terrain is the problem. Could you help me with a solution to make this as similar as possible? also i cant see my steps in front because of the terrain as well, had to ghost down to get them connected lol
Use a ceiling and place walls around it that should work

Is the entrance cut off by floors going through the doorway?? I’m trying to figure out if this guild could still be done without cutting through the Dino gateway, or if there wouldn’t be enough support for upper levels.

Awesome build! But keep in mind building with wood does not help against the heat of scorched earth. A great build for any other map though!
@Aaron Longstaff I know this was a few years ago but i was hoping you might be able to help, i got to around 12:50 in the video where you place the 4 walls but it wont let me place it there, it just shows to place it above where the wood ceilings are. I'm not sure what I did wrong

When placing down the gateway, for some reason, it places backwards and can't be changed to be placed facing forwards. Any ideas on what the issue might be?

Finnaly finished a wood and stone version on top of a platform on a lake. A huge pain to built due to ark's poor building and the huge amount of ressources but totally worth it.
Really appreciate this but messed it up by not realizing I'd need extra space for the foundations surrounding the house. Only accounted for the house's foundation area and had to take everything down and start over.
It seems like your builds are becoming more refined.

I love the build! I hope I’m not to late to have a question answered, but I’m playing on Xbox one, and currently In your video I’m at 17:37. I’m really struggling with getting the triangle ceilings to slope like you did, and RB isn’t working, it just rotates it. Does anyone have any advice for me? I’m desperate at this point!

Yoo Aaron i love this build and I'm currently recreating it but there are some things u somehow snap which im not getting, for example the Adobe double doorframes u snap on the thatch ceilings and then remove the ceilings after, I get the green spot but it won't place

The wooden roof and ceiling parts could be replaced with adobe so you don't get heatstroke. As Manpower Gaming said. If you have a well in the center it could skyrocket the looks.

I realize this is an older video, but aaron, the amount specified for the wooden pillars was just a tiny bit incorrect, i made the exact amount you listed and still needed an extra four, for when you put pillars on the double greenhouse wall sides. Either way an amazing build so excited i was able to complete it!!
It’s a gorgeous build and easy to follow video which was extremely helpful however I ran into two big snags in the design. How does one enter the bedroom above the stairs?? It’s a solid wall with access to their own bathroom/closet but they can never leave the room. Second issue is when I go to enter the double door way into each bedroom I have to duck because middle triangle roof is causing movement problems. Has anyone else attempted to build this in last 4years and had similar problems?

hii!! i'm currently building this house on scorched earth.. and right now im placing all the foundations but i'm having some trouble doing so. the triangle foundations wont place and say its obstructed? i found a way to solve this with triangle ceilings but when i was gonna do the outer part of the foundations it didnt cover up the sides? do you know how to fix this? hopefully you understand what i'm saying because i'm not so good at explaining things - by the way, i love your work!

I bulid the crib yesterday love it just had 2 problems my dino gate always went on backwards and i remove foundations and piller to try doing again but never worked and same same with the adobe window frames wouldn't let me put them on backwards smh but other than that its done lol thanks
Does this build function as is on Scorched Earth or do certain aspects need revised to avoid the heat waves etc?
this needs to be answered since Adobe was introduced for that very reason. Is a cool base and would love to use it when I go into SE from the island on my next playthrough but if I'ma die in it every time then that kinda sucks don't it? Though I had a nice build idea the last time I was on SE using the same floor plan style.
You need to revise. The greenhouse pieces and the wood can't be used for heatstroke. A lot of others have been saying to just install a LOT of AC units, but I think it'd just be easier in the long run to replace all the wood with Adobe for Scorched Earth instead of trying to figure out where all the AC units have to go and how to wire them. Especially since Electrical items have to be repaired over time and, during lightning storms, just can't be used in general.
Late but are all those pieces of furniture from a mod or something? And is it possible to get it on ps4?
Kids, don't use wooden pieces in the desert unless you've got serious A/C

@@lovinstrife5099 the pillars are okay, but you should replace the wooden ceilings of the second floor with adobe. Same for the wooden walls used for parting areas
