Yep! These guns are designed for law-heavy jurisdictions like Canada and some areas in the EU. I can speak for many Canadian gun owners when I say the legislation makes owning most tactical applications troublesome. I have noticed a growing trend in the Canadian gun market that is evolving towards tac shotguns, specifically a high volume of semi-auto shotguns. These long-guns are filling a huge niche in the Canadian market place and many smaller arms companies are taking note of the demand and the potential profit. I can say that my collection has definitely been trending towards owning more and more shotguns and I am far more interested in owning a 5 round capacity semi-auto shotgun that is classified as non-restricted, and that I can essentially take anywhere and shoot anything rather than I am in investing in an AR that requires a higher level firearms permit, an authorization to transport paperwork, a range membership AND only being able to fire this rifle AT a range AND experiencing this with a 5 round capacity. While I understand that an AR shouldnt be compared to a semi-auto shotgun, this is unfortunately the reality of Canadian gun ownership. You arent getting a full-fledged AR. You are getting a 5 round AR which completely destroys the experience and ruins the entire purpose of an AR and so the semi-auto tac shotguns we are seeing today are far easier to own, are far more adaptable and are far more worthwhile due to Canadian legislation. These firearms invalidate owning an AR in Canada.
This gun is so easy to use and to clean it takes less than five minutes to break it down and maybe five minutes to put it back together taking your time… since our great emperor in Canada outlawed my AR this is my favourite gun to shoot…I always in all my sessions at the range end by shooting 3….5 round magazines of slugs …I pull the trigger as fast as I can..IT FEELS SO GOOD to hear the ring of the steel… peace from Vancouver island
Bekir1221 there are some political issues but honestly the more they/you enter the free market the better everyone becomes. I also really enjoy the economical pistols from Turkey as well. You really get some great value and the products are also attractive as well not that it really matters near as much as function and form, (although it does since pretty is also a factor since almost everything is good these days).
@@johnyguitar258The other companies dont export what they make for the Domestic market. All they care for is flooding the American market with cheap guns. Derya, alongside Sarsılmaz and Canik are the only companies that sell actual quality weaponry. Derya is the only one that makes Shotguns. The other 2 are pistol companies.
I cannot say enough good about my Derya shotgun especially being in an AR format it feels so good to shoot slugs and to watch what they do to a piece of steel at 100 yards… peace from Vancouver island
Love my mk12. Also picked up the Canuck commander shot gun and I gotta say the Turks definately know how to make a shotty. Much better than the typhoon
I recently bought some Turkish shotguns; 12 bore pump for me and 20 bore semi-autos for my wife and daughters and we're very happy with them and not just with the price. Now I've seen this; I wonder how many shotguns I can fit into my house??!!
Grendel Grendelson Well, in Turkey its restricted to buy rifled guns, only with hunter licence its possible but only bolt-action rifled guns. And Turkish people are really fond of fire arms so we produce best shotguns as a result.
I have just taken delivery of the HATSAN DF12. It looks virtually identical to that Derya. The mags look identical. As a matter of fact I tried the Typhoon F12 mags belonging to a mate. They are totally interchangeable and function perfectly in the Hatsan. The Hatsan DF12 does also have the reversible cocking handle. I am right handed but I prefer it on the left because you can charge the gun and do stoppage drills without taking your strong hand off the grip, much faster and no reaching over or under the shotgun. Mine here in Spain has an 18" barrel 699€. Nice review BTW, thanks.
Hello, nice review. I have bought one Derya MK-12 shotgun though, but I am experiencing an issue from day 1, and no one is able to fix it, it is supposed to be an gaz-operated semi auto shotgun, that throw away automatically the shot shells, well, it doesn't! Whatever the ring/shook I use or the heavy load cartridge (up to 36g), I still need to arm each shot manually prior to shoot. Any idea would be really appreciated :)
The typhoon f12 gen 5 is the Ferrari of Turkish guns. Better in my opinion to mk12 in build quality and design. Both reliable.also the North American version of mk12 does not have the paddle bolt release so you need to use the charge handle to release the bolt instead of “slapping it” that and the fact the mk12 mags do not drop out when the mag release is presses. Small details but reasons I went with the f12. Ive shot both, the charging handle switching is innovative bud I’m right handed so I’ve no use for it.
The reason they include the two rounders is so the gun can be legally taken hunting. Limited two three rounds total in a shotgun when hunting here in Canada.
Good day R&R , having watched some Canadian dude , showed review on same but his was sporting a rather nice looking shroud . Don't know if this is supplied as standard or where can you acquire ? Any ideas ? Can't believe I've subbed and Englishman ! Great work man , love your vids sir
at 20:30 ish you make a statement that is totally unwarranted. go to THEIR site for model type. there short med and long shroud covers and different frontal attachments, never mind finish colour.
hello neil. I have the chance to get a web tac 12g trying to find out more about them seen all youre videos. does the typhoon magazine fit in web tac? and the derya mag in web tac? and MK1919? where in the UK DO THEY SELL spare web tac mags would the typhoon round drum fit web tac or like in the US a 18 x rounder mag
They are here and we even have a Canada edition that’s red with a flag on it. Unfortunately our guns are only 5rd magazine limited although I hear there are some magazines for a pump shotgun that just happen to fit and they are 10 rounders. Those mags are a bit pricey at $65 each but I’d buy a few since it’s totally worth it.
very odd, just how broke is the world? 50 quid is f-all for the fun factor, how much do you spend on any given night at the pub? (where the fun factor is poured down the drain - and impossible for a mag) I can see if they were single use lol
One of the best shotguns. Thanks for the review
The 2 Round box mag is so that it can be used to comply with Canadian hunting regulations. Limited to 3 rounds total, so 2 in the mag.

As a turk i am very happy when i hear that people love their turkish made guns 👍🇹🇷🇹🇷

I'm so obsessed with Turkish shotguns, it's almost unhealthy. Haha. Love them!
i bieleve that derya is the only trust worthy turkish weapon company has the best quality weapons of them all

You gonna do a comparison between this and the F12?

effthis42 they also do some pretty decent pistols as well.
@@john-paulsilke893 that what I hear, I have my eyes on a Czech surplus pistol at the moment
