I was thinking about when you chopped the big pieces of wood for the fire that maybe you could try a different way to save your energy. I watch another TH-camr called King Kong Amazon and he takes 2 long fat pieces of wood and puts them on either side of the fire with the ends in the actual fire. Then as they start to burn from that one end and gets used up he then keeps pushing them in further into the fire. Hahaha I don’t know if my explanation actually makes sense but if you ever watch one of his videos you’ll know what I’m saying. I think that would just make it easier to have 2 long pieces and not have to chop them. Anyway I still love watching all of your videos. It’s like watching a real life Viking! 🥰

Its amazing how the lumber (drift wood) you find on the shore dosn't look like its been in the water...just saying

Salt water. It's the Baltic Sea. I have no specific suggestions for gear. Just keep it simple and functional. Don't get a too small ferro rod 👍

I go back to some more "permanent" shelters. The most recent videos are examples of that.

What hatchet do you use? That thing looks crazy sharp!!
Norweigan "Oyo" brand. Sharp because I sharpened it! I just use a simple diamond file and have reshaped the edge for better cutting.

Do you return to the shelters you make for other trips?
Sometimes. I destroyed this shelter afterwards. I have a few better shelters on other islands that I will return to.
