As a Russian, I don’t support his actions toward our people and how he mass murdered millions, but he saved us from certain enslavement, and that is why I respect him. When the germans approached Moscow, he didn’t flee like the others he stood strong at the city.
As an American, I suggest you read up on Stalin and do further research. There are plenty of sources saying he did NOT murder millions or genocide. Much of the 'evidence' people use to 'prove' he murdered 50 million or whatever the number is now, is from a book called "The Black Book on Communism" - which has been proven false, by its OWN AUTHORS.
@@dukedase7 you dont even need evidence to disprove it, a little bit of common sense is more than enough, the population of the entire soviet union at the time is 150 million people, people claimed that Stalin killed 50 million, how the hell did he managed to kill that amount of people without the entire nation rising up against him is absolutely bullshit at best

not to mention there is no actual photos of the holodomer and all photo are from ww1 and done by a convicted fellen That was prosecuted in the United States previously.
The only actual crimes he did do was at the very least mismanagement and This is cultural genocide by kicking out portions of populations Out of the USSR
If you want sources Then we can do this on discord
Did the Soviet government not enslave all of the Soviet union? I'd love to hear your response as my understanding is he traded one master for another. Himself.
Stalin was given a job he had no wish for, he never wanted to be leader of USSR, he wanted to do opera and theatre, but Stalin accepted the job, yet he still tried to resign 3 times in his life from his position, and each 3 times, the people and the Soviet government officials rejected his resignation, Stalin kept doing his job, he did it so well, under his rule, the Soviet Union went from peasant farmland to a nuclear armed industrial super power and it took the Trotskyists 38 years to destroy the USSR and turn it into a post-apocalyptic Capitalist wasteland.
And Hitler rebuilt Germany back from the destruction/humiliating surrender of WW1 and the Great Depression. Mao took power and helped propel China into the modern age and it only took something around 50 to 100 million lives.

Joseph Vissarianovich Stalin is probably the most outstanding political, military, and statesman in the history of Russia and one of the greatest figures in the world. There is not a single person in history who has been so slandered and defiled. In short, Stalin was a harsh but just man who believed with all his soul in the ideals of communism. Comrades who want to better understand him, start reading his scientific and political works, look at his actions from the perspective of that era and the information he possessed. Then you will understand that all his actions were aimed at the well-being of the population, and at victories with the enemy (capitalism). And the saddest thing is that after the death of Comrade Stalin, the USSR stopped building communism and took a course towards counterrevolution.
@ace In the period from 21 to 53 years, about 2.5 million people passed through the camp system, and about 750 thousand people were shot (this list includes collaborators, voluntary accomplices of the enemy, bandits, pedophiles, chauvinists, a small part of the royal aristocracy, outspoken Nazis ). Yes, no one denies that in the period from 37 to 38 the peak of these events occurred, the blame for this does not lie with Stalin, but with Yezhov and his entourage, as soon as Stalin realized what the hell was going on, Yezhov was quickly shot and put Beria on him place, and he acquitted many, and those who were tried on trumped-up cases were shot. On my side are naked facts and figures, and on your side is Western propaganda without facts and figures
@@ЛучшийТрап 2.5 million for polical crimes. All the thigs you have listed are included into this term. 750.000 were sentenced to death. We still dont know how much were actually shot down. No doubt less than that.
@ace I dont think you are really an idiot but you act like that. " how do you know that those 750,000 people were who you said". - There is a "history science" thing you know. Secondary sources, primary sources, material evidence, cross-checking.
Russian Empire was literally a hell for 3/4 of its population. Social and racial segregation, major starvation on regular basis, beyond awful education and healthcare. Bolsheviks successfully saved Russia from that. More than that USSR become a driver for social progress in the entire world. And once again communists saved Russia and half of the world from fascist slavery in 1945.
Stalin is the man who made the world a much better place.
@@valterskye7934 Maybe because I am a historian and teach at a university. I have access to archives (except for those that are still classified as secret, but documents related to the GULAG are in the public domain. Moreover, the fact that Khrushchev was most profitable to slander Stalin and Beria, but no one could give him more than these figures, and since when the execution and isolation of pedophiles, bandits and Nazis is considered a political crime.I will not deny that innocent people also came across, but mostly not in the period 1937 to 1939, but in the period from 1934 to 1935. led by Yezhov who was convicted and executed for his crimes, as well as those who participated in unreasonable persecution of civilians. You can recall how the USSR acted with the Crimean Tatars, but more than 90% of the Crimean Tatars deserted from the army in the most difficult period, so also, almost the entire population of the Crimean Tatars were accomplices of the Nazis, and how can you order them to deal with them for such atrocity and betrayal, can they be executed? But then it will be genocide And the Soviet leadership would not have been better than the Nazis, therefore, they decided to resettle this people throughout the USSR, and they helped many families locally, and did not touch those Crimean Tatars who bravely and bravely during a difficult period for the country remained true to the oath. And yes, I am a communist and do not condemn the actions of the government, my grandfather, whom I respected, was an ideological communist. I know the history of my country very well and I know to whom it owes this to the Communists, and especially to Lenin and Stalin.
Why are people still glorifying Stalin? Isn't it bad enough that the corpses piled resulting from his paranoia numbered in the millions?
Stalin was never meant to lead the Soviet Union.
In the words of Lenin himself:
"Stalin is too coarse and this defect, although quite tolerable in our midst and in dealing among us Communists, becomes intolerable in a Secretary-General. That is why I suggest that the comrades think about a way of removing Stalin from that post and appointing another man in his stead who in all other respects differs from Comrade Stalin in having only one advantage, namely, that of being more tolerant, more loyal, more polite and more considerate to the comrades, less capricious, etc. This circumstance may appear to be a negligible detail. But I think that from the standpoint of safeguards against a split and from the standpoint of what I wrote above about the relationship between Stalin and Trotsky it is not a [minor] detail, but it is a detail which can assume decisive importance." -Lenin's Testament
A leader who kills his own subjects is no leader at all, but a glorified mass murderer.
No political ideology, agenda or state that allows for this to happen can ever survive in the long run.
The seeds sown by Stalin doomed the USSR. End of story.
