Hello, I encountered some mode change errors and fixed it by applying a prestep which is very short as 0.001 seconds. Because the error said you cannot kill and alive the element at the same step. I also made the load deactivation in the succeding steps which you warned us about in the video. Thank you very much for the detailed explanations.👏👏
Thank you sir for the nice video. Could you please make a video where multiple layers of bead are deposited? Kindly please make a video using the DFLUX subroutine.
Model error . We dont need to deactive and activate first element in same step , we do the opposite . First deactivate in one step and then in other step activate and subsecuently . Great video .
Thanks for the tutorial! Can you do a tutorial on how to determine the maximum number of filament layers that can be printed before deformation for concrete printing? Thanks in advance!
thank you so much for this detailed video professor :), I really learnt smth new, and I would also love to learn how to create it using a DFLUX routine. I hadsome questions but I will adress them on your main platform. :)
Dear Professor, when I use the procedure in the video I encounter this error: ***ERROR: IN STEP 1, ELEMENT 737 INSTANCE PART-1-2 CANNOT BE ADDED USING *MODEL CHANGE BECAUSE IT IS NOT CURRENTLY REMOVED. How can I solve this issue? I tried to define a pre-step 1 week ago and I have some other problems.

Excellent thanks fr liking the video
thanks

Thank you for the video, it will be very helpful if you did one for DFLUX subroutine

Great suggestion! I will see what i can do.

very good explanations, please make a video using the DFLUX subroutine.
Struggling with time but will try to do so
Sir video is very good, kindly i request to you please give the dflux subroutine code of first section of this video
Hello, Would you mind please make a video on melt pool simulation? specially in LW-DED process. thanks
I would try but feel not that easy with abaqus only. Unless you have a case study or an example
Thank you for the nice video. Please can you do the same video for 3D concrete printing? I would appreciate it. Thank you
If you could send me a problem description with relevant properties then I may try as I don’t work with concrete
I have a question about multy layer 3D priting, how to chose one layer by another layer in the subroutine or python script? Thanks.
It will depend on the layer thickness used in real experiment. You can work with coordinates or elements sets.
Hello, my research on thermal spray coating can u help me to perform simulation using Abaqus?
Sure please get in touch via website www.professor3mec.com
Sir please make a same type of video on selective laser melting simulation
I will do if I get some time in near future. Thanks.
can you please create the same video using Dflux subroutines?

May be you forgot to deactivate these elements in the previous step?
I have the same error
one vedio LPBF on comsol multiphysics software
I ain’t in console but see if I can find someone who may do so
can you please the same video using Dflux subroutines? it world be helpful
Sure
how you removed the error " model change because it is not currently removed"
In the end of the video I think i mentioned it or somewhere else.
👌
idi a version cheppandi sir???
??
error happens at the last step, otherwise running smooth
Good to know. Let me know the error message, if needs sorting.
