Hello, thank you for the informative video :). Can you also include in this thermomechanical model the preheating of these plates using an induction coil underneath, can you please show us how all the three models will be coupled? the preheating by induction coil/ the heating source of the welding tool/ the mechanical loading. Thank you so much inadvance.
hello? I have one question for you. Why didn't you consider f_r and c_r (variables rear heat flux) when you used the goldak double ellipsoidal heat source equation in your python code?
hello, I would like to ask what type of arc welding is performed here, is it TIG? also, how do we determine the value of current, voltage and etta? thank you
Yes this config is for Tig process. As for etta is the welding equipment effectivness, the voltage and intensity is the objective of this study to determinate so they are variable until the heat zone is perfect.
@@imodeling5736 Thank you for the reply. How about the rear heat flux variables, did you consider in this simulation? also, why is the fraction of the heat is 0.6?
Hi sir, in minute 12:41, why do you only consider the part in box for the goldak equation? will it have a significant impact on the heat distribution? thanks
hello. I have a question. Why did you use the film coefficient and sink temperature values of mig welding when you used a 2mm thin plate? I know that mig welding is used when the thickness of the plate is 6mm or more.

Thank you, you have nicely explained...
what is the paper you have used to get the values of a and b and c at goldak s equation

Simply because it's a general case model can be used with Tig or Mig welding. Certain parameters can be neglected with specific factors.
hello. I have inquiries that i needed a brief direct discussion . How can we get in touch asap
In your video, why do you set up the step-2, what does the step-2 represent in 600 seconds?
Cooling stage.
in your video, why the sink temperature on upper surface is 10?
Inert gas temperature set at 10°C for this example.
