So true. I can say I have self-love but there are times that I feel so empty inside. It's difficult because you can't explain why you feel that way so it makes it much harder to solve. But I find praying and talking to God helps.
We are not defined by our past. We are defined by who died for us on the cross. Also had a lot of insecurities before I met Christ but He changed me from inside out. I agree with what Maricar said that we have to expose our flaws. This way the enemy can't use it against us. Moreso, we build accountability.

Sa lahat po ng youtuber ikaw yung need ng nakararami sa panahon ngayon, grabe lang po yung bawat words na sinasabi nyo lagi akong may realization. Dahil po sa inyo bumalik yung tiwala ko sa sarili at confidence ko. Nawawalan na rin ako ng paki sa mga sasabihin nila, as long as alam ko naman po na walang mali sa ginagawa ko. Dati po kasi bago ko gawin yung isang bagay sobrang daming bagay muna pumapasok sa isip ko, na baka i-judge lang nila ako, sobrang lala ng anxiety ko, pero ngayon bahala na lang po, naiisip ko lang po na baka ako lang po yung problema na nasa isip ko lang yung judgement wala sa kanila, na baka yung sarili ko lang talaga yung enemy ko. Hi ate Maricar! Sobrang inspired ako sa mga vlogs mo. I am 19 years old and I know this time of my life is very crucial. Sobrang relate ako sa vid na to kasi mahilig din akong mag takip ng mga flaws ko gamit ang mga achievements ko or yung mga good things about me. But then, dumating din sa point na halos nawala lahat ng pwede kong isiping panakip sa mga insecurities ko. Dumating sa point na kahit yung mga bagay na magaganda sakin na natitira pa, pakiramdam ko it doesn't add any to make me look valuable. Kapag may magandang bagay sakin na meron din yung iba, I feel like having those things doesn't make me extraordinary. I always strive to be the best in everything para naman may ipang tatapal ako sa mga insecurities ko. But you know what? It may be true that I have nothing to flaunt and many times I feel so insecure but there is a little voice inside me that tells me about the greatest achievement that will make me extraordinary, and that is ACCEPTING JESUS CHRIST AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR. My Salvation is the greatest thing I have that I could ever flaunt. I love what Proverbs 31:30 says: " Charm is deceitful and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised." Hi Ms. Maricar. I once messaged you a little about my life's testimony. And this video discussed a lot of things that I can relate to (again). It addressed some thoughts that run in my mind and emotions I felt since the time I messed up. Ganda talaga ng mga contents ng mga videos mo po.. :) I agree with what you've said that there are things that we can't control in our life-It’s difficult to make sense of the pain that can’t be blamed on someone or something else, making coping more challenging and sometimes causes us to become stuck in our anguish.. On the other hand, some of our anguish is the result of our own choices. Sometimes they are the ones that are difficult to endure because it involves personal regret over once controllable and avoidable circumstances. Yet, Brokenness is normal. If that were the end of the story, it would have a depressing and discouraging conclusion. Thanks be to God, it is not the end of the eternal story, and it is not the end of our story! :) God is in the business of daily transforming us to be a little more like Him :) And like you did, we all can bounce back. Start changing the way we think and adopting healthy skills, then going back to God, focusing on Him- when we know who we are in Him, it really changes everything! :)

I am glad you shared this here on you tube. To be honest, when you said that people judged you after your "crisis", I was one of those judgers. I judged you but honestly, I am a lot like you. Ayoko lang aminin dahil tulad nga ng sinabi mo, I know how good of a person I am. On the outside that's how I am but on the inside that's not really the case. After watching this, I realized totoo lahat ng sinabi mo ❤ literally, it made sense. Also, thank you for reminding me how amazing God is. I am glad you shared this here on you tube. To be honest, when you said that people judged you after your "crisis", I was one of those judgers. I judged you but honestly, I am a lot like you. Ayoko lang aminin dahil tulad nga ng sinabi mo, I know how good of a person I am. On the outside that's how I am but on the inside that's not really the case. After watching this, I realized totoo lahat ng sinabi mo ❤ literally, it made sense. Also, thank you for reminding me how amazing God is.
