Do all BMW's have folding wing mirrors and comfort opening (walk near the car it opens) but the features are just turned off? And you can turn these on through this app? Or do these options only show if you actually have these features? I don't know if it's a selling game of BMW and every car has all of these and they just code it to work for thousands of dollars or you can do it yourself? Thanks bud.

In all the new updates they've done, I'm not sure I've even seen that as an option in the app. If you use the full pc version, I think you might be able to then.

The safety menu wouldn’t open on my ‘18 750, so I couldn’t change the seatbelt chime or startup warning. Got through all the cosmetic stuff without a hitch. Thanks for the video, it made things really easy and took the stress away.
Thank you for doing this video, this is exactly what I was looking for. I just did the B&O upgrade to my audio on my F15 and wow...what a difference. It’s is absolutely noticeable and I know it worked because I now have an extra option for the B&O option in my audio settings.
@@briancollinson1838 put it back to default option. It's selected before you choose the other one. Write it down. You won't need it though. It worked great. Makes the audio clearer.

I`m about to commit to Bimmercode app but have one question for you. Can you recode the heated wing-mirrors. I`ve a 2017 730 and they are shit. But believe the heat is 'restricted' to a percentage of full heat, depending on the outside temp`. I want them at 100% heat to clear the rain/water, which we get a lot of in Scotland 🤣 Thanks for the video, it`s excellent and very helpful.
I have a 2017 x3 x35i ,it has road speed auto braking ,i would like to also set it to auto braking on very low city speed as well ,is it possible? Like when you're on the traffic lite and you let the car go so it stops on its own before hitting the car on front ,or before hitting your garage walls ,please let me know
That's a really good question. I haven't messed with any of those features, but I do believe they're in there. Might have to just go through modules to find it.
07 bmw 328xi 6sp. Trun signals & wipers don't work so I Bought the app full version and it doesn't work for replacement and reprogramming used/new Frm module. With the car vin# You can only change the settings on/off. Got software and used laptop 💻 windows xp 10 for coding.

I plan on using the recommended ethernet cable to connect. The connector choices on your BC don't show that connector option....hopefully, when I buy the app "cable connection" will be a select-able option for me. (Haven't bought the app yet)

There really needs to be 1 webpage that tells step by step how to do things in expert mode. I have the X5 50i and it took me forever to change the interior color just by messing with it instead of a bullet point roadmap. Anyone who does this will surly have 100,000 hits on youtube or their website.

Video in motion is a tricky one. You might have to use the full laptop version and FA/VO code it in. Check out forums like bimmerpost to get more details on that. Software is free too.
Hello, is it possible to do a firmware software and navigation update on a BMW using the coding software? I have a 2010 328i sedan and I tried to update my navigation maps and I got an error message...I was informed that early production (03/2010) vehicles had a glitch with the firmware and it needed to be updated before any navigation maps updates can be done. I tried to enable the AM radio, I love listening to talk radio, but it still does not show up on my screen. Is there anything else I need to code to get AM radio to play? My other option would be to play it on my phone and then bluetooth the radion over to the car. But I would really prefer to play it straight from the car. Hope you can help.

I think with the latest app updates they are only supporting up to a certain year. I think you might be out of the date range. This is a new thing with them. Might be just too many models for them to worry about. Especially with all the new chassis just added.

What style headlights you have? You can't change the newer LED lights with simple FA coding. There older xenon O rings can be coded and position (parking) lights.

That's should work too. You'll just have to deactivate interior lighting. You can also have the flood lighting come on when you go in reverse on some models.
Hi, will Bimmercode allow you to update Combox settings? I will be upgrading from the 2g to the 4g Combox. I will need to change the VIN settings in the Combox and maybe some other stuff. Not sure if this will do that for me.
What do you mean? Deactivate active sound so it doesn't pump noise through the speakers? You can't change exhaust valves with coding or make it louder. That takes and ECU tune or install downpipes.
Do you know if it's possible to put navigation on the screen? Maybe mirror my phone to the screen. I coded in Bluetooth Audio and other small things already.
Screen mirroring might be possible not 100% sure though, but you'd need the full laptop version to VO/FA code to do it. Navigation would take hardware your car doesn't have.
Well I got the veepeak and bimmercode theres really not much for f01/f02 like its got 1/3of the stuff that u show. Mine is a 13 740li Msport so its probably more intricate
I'm not 100% that'll work. I've never tried that option. It shouldn't hurt to try it though. If it does nothing, you can go back in and make it the default again.

Please help guys. F15 2015 from USA Hu-NBT going to transport mode and shutting out. I coded out 6AE & 6AC and coded HU NBT. But it still going to transport mode black screen at same day or next day. What i need to code more ECUs or should i unplug fuse? Thanks for help.
With computer controlled devices. Options to code are limited on older ones but available if you know what modules their in. I don't read German do🤷♂️
Hey bro, I have a 2010 E90 with the halogen headlights set up. I just converted everything to LED's and now I want to change my DRL's to my halos as opposed to the high beams which is the way they are now. Can this be done with this app?

That would be a new option so you have to use the full version on Windows to code it in. I'm not 100% sure it would even work as carplay is a subscription service in BMW's 🤷♂️
I recently coded my 5 series f10 and both my key fobs have stopped working and I had to use my key to lock the car. Please advise how to fix it. Thank you.
Just the normal stuff. I didn’t even go to expert mode. I was coding comfort access, but then I realised that my car dose not have it. Could it be the reason. Also if I use my key to unlock, is it going to sound alarm?

They're a lot of settings for heat controls in there. I've never messed with them but I've seen the seat heat and even the defrost too.

Not with the app. Search BMW forums to get the software that you can do that with. Not sure it works on that year but worth a shot.

Use your cell phone and Bluetooth out. I think there apps for am radio.

Yes this video is a bit dated. The updates to the appsince this allows for different Bluetooth dongles to work that didn't at the time.

You can roll windows up and down by simply keeping your finger on the comfort access ridges on the door handle.

Ya for some of the newer vehicles you will have issues. I would put it back to default and wait on some updates to fix that.

@@larrywhyte1174 just get a Bluetooth dongle. Might have to refer to the video as I mentioned which one works best. Than download the application and pay their one time fee. You'll get full access.
Can you change the time displayed in dash cluster? My knob is broken so I can't move it forward or backward.

Hu-NBT going to transport mode and shutting out. I coded out 6AE & 6AC and coded HU NBT. But it still going to transport mode black screen at same day or next day. What i need to code more ECUs or should i unplug fuse? Thanks for help.

With computer controlled devices. Options to code are limited on older ones but available if you know what modules their in. I don't read German do🤷♂️
Hey bro, I have a 2010 E90 with the halogen headlights set up. I just converted everything to LED's and now I want to change my DRL's to my halos as opposed to the high beams which is the way they are now. Can this be done with this app?
No you'll need to FA/VO code that with a laptop. You'll need full version.

That would be a new option so you have to use the full version on Windows to code it in. I'm not 100% sure it would even work as carplay is a subscription service in BMW's 🤷♂️

No. Just get the torq app and use the same Bluetooth dongle.

I recently coded my 5 series f10 and both my key fobs have stopped working and I had to use my key to lock the car. Please advise how to fix it. Thank you.

Just the normal stuff. I didn’t even go to expert mode. I was coding comfort access, but then I realised that my car dose not have it. Could it be the reason. Also if I use my key to unlock, is it going to sound alarm?
