I got this watch for my son for xMas. He would not read the manual to learn how to set the time or use any of the features. Out of frustration I did a search and found your video and watched it. After battery replacement I put my G-Shock away for some time, because I could not set the time.

Took it to so many shops and they all tried to sync the analog with digital but they couldn't and gave up. I got it right the very first time using with this video. Awesome. Thank you.
As casio has so many models of G-SHOCK, it is difficult to find the right one. And then, if the person will explain well. In this case, your explanation was so claer, and thanks for that, now my g-shock is working well again. Thank you so much.
The GA800-1A (not the all-black one like in this video) is the best looking watch in the Gshock series.

*_I forgot all about the Time Swap function in the GA-800. I remembered this function in the GA-700, but forgot about it in this puppy. What made me bethink or even become abreast (again) to the Time Swap functionality was me reading the manual to this model at work. That's what I get for not paying attention when Watch Geek is speaking and demonstrating._*

I have collected watches for close to 30 years. I have this watch as my Beater watch to work.. Excavation, Its really taken a beating over the years but its run perfectly. I wear this watch more than my Rolex, or my Seiko's

I have both GA-800 and GBA-800 , The GBA-800 is far superior watch. The build quality and materials are much better and feel more premium, more advanced functions (i love the quick lap button and target time for stopwatch, interval timers, etc...) sits on small wrist better because of lug adapters, always shows exact time because of Bluetooth sync. One more thing to note is the visibility of negative display, i have not seen such good display in casio watches before, its good they started listening to customers who complained about poor visibility.

This was so intuitive and well explained! The time just flew by. I remained ignorant about these watches and had one sitting in my drawer thinking it’s too clunky to use. But after watching this I’ve grown fond of how it all works and excited to have it as an EDC. Thank you for this video!!

You're voice is crisp and clear, your annunciations are on time, and you don't pause or stumble in your dialogue.
The time on my GA800 was off by an hour half the year and none of the other functions were set or used but in a half an hour I have the time set and know all the functions of this watch in depth.

You save me hours on how to synchronize the hour hand to its digital mode. I couldn't find anything on it inside the owner's manual booklet. Terrible instructions that doesn't explain what you need to know. Thank you. I'll reference this video when I need to make adjustments on this watch when need to.

Think I’m getting this over Gulfman G9100. Realize that the Gulfman basically has more feature, but I’ve been captivated by the full feature analogue hands offered by this. Never had any analogue G Shock and this seems like a perfect watch to be my first. World time funct may be a turned off for some, but for my usage, I don’t really care for them. Excellent video though

You could buy a bezel from one of the other colors and replace it on a white one
@@WatchGeek My apologies. I got mixed up between this model and the GBA-800 which is only available in positive display in white color. I can actually get this model in positive display, sorry if my comments got you confused.

I've returned 2 or 3 of these. They all exhibit a software bug that my obsessiveness just can't forgive. It's an issue with REC mode not displaying recorded times properly. Oddly enough, this only is an issue in 12hr mode.
