- Ever get a hold of a crystal point that's just so tiny you have no idea what to do with it? Sometimes it's difficult to decide how to wire wrap smaller objects. I think that's why I like wrapping them so much. I love a challenge.
This video will show you another style of wire wrap for those tiny crystal points. The one I'm using in the video is about 4mm wide and 16mm long. It's a great size to use for earrings and ear cuffs, as well as for small, understated pendants.
In this lesson, I'm using 20 gauge wire to wrap this small crystal. If you want to wrap a larger crystal, I would suggest going up to either 18 gauge or 16 gauge.
If you have any tutorial requests, feel free to let me know in the comments below. :)
Supplies:
Tiny crystal point
6" 20 gauge round, dead soft wire
Tools:
Round nose pliers
Needle nose pliers
Wire flush cutters

Just what I needed to wrap a tiny lapis lazuli point. Thank you for this tutorial.💙💛💜
Thank you, you are the only person I could find that explained it so well
I commend you on your simple explanation, and then your resulting work of art. Thank you!
Thank you :)

Thank you for the compliment. Glad you like it :)
Love this!! What kind of wire is that??!!
Wow!! You made that so easy and it looks beautiful! I recently got in some tiny points for jewelry that were smaller than expected. I successfully wrapped one after watching this video. Thank you SO much!
great video! id like to make some wire wrapped crystal studs but not sure where to buy tiny points - any advice?
Thank you!!
Hi! I am portuguese and a very small youtuber making videos since January. I really apreciate your work with wire. And about this subject I would like to ask you if there is a best wire to work with without turnnig the colour quite fast. Thank you and continue to make your wonderful art. Sorry about my poor english.
So true story, My friend gave me some teeth so I decided I’d make some jewelry out of it. Every video didn’t help with the slenderness of the tooth. I didn’t want to drill a hole. Overall this video was very helpful. And I thank you very much. Also I’ve never done anything with wrapping wire around.
thank you!
Where did you get the points?
Where did you get your Crystal's from. Love the video straight and to the point.
Went from wanting to wire wrap a bullit shell to wire wapping a crystal
the intro had a different wrap that i wanted to see then the video cut to this version of the wrap. did i miss something?
I'm not sure I understand. I just double checked and it's the same wrap all the way through the video. Is it possible you meant to click on a different video, but clicked this one by mistake?
@@GailaviraJewelrywjt Hi, the opening shows a image of a fairly advanced wrap technique, leading me to believe the video was about the image that brought me here. That cuts away and you show a fairly basic technique that does not match the opening image.
@@diegooland1261 There must be some kind of glitch on youtube if it's showing you something more advanced. The opening image on this video is 3 crystals wrapped in the same style as the one shown in the video.
Omg, surgical pliers? My dad (rip) gave me a pair too!

Thanks for this terrible tutorial, just sat here for 2 hours and wasted an entire roll of wire. Or maybe I’m just not talented
