The brother I like is amping up attention & actively seeking me out. He called me 'love' but you said that might be a yellow flag. He's VERY cautious. Been hurt alot. We're older, so its a given. The baggage! Its taken him a few months to show affection but he's always been protective towards me. I'm confident we will be courting to marriage. The last few months was more of a 'vetting'. Crazy people out there!! I'm excited to see where God takes us.

We need to have a conversation about these things soon. If he's forgiven his exes. It's imperative we forgive everyone.
This is good. Especially the point about following up on conversations with a member of the opposite gender that you like, because if I never talk to a woman again after one time, she's going to think I'm either a player or I'm avoiding her.
I would only proceed if his goal or intention is to marry. The brother must be intentional and not waste your time or play with your heart. God will show you. If the man is serious, he can visit you.
How long should adults date before considering marriage? In my opinion it shouldn't take more than a year to know if you want to marry especially if you're over 40 ?
I usually recommend 6 to 24 months. But there is no absolute rule that must be followed. You should date as long as you need to know if God is leading you two to get married.

If a person shows narcissistic traits like gaslighting, blame shifting, and stonewalling, should a Christian take that into consideration? Because someone told me that I should not listen to psychology because it isn't in line with the bible. Should I take these as BIG red flags or do I listen to the advice I was given?
those are character issues. They may have a psychological name, but that doesn't mean they are against what the Bible says. There's a difference between something not being in the Bible compared to something contradicting the Bible. If it contradicts the Bible, don't follow it. But there are helpful things God can use that are outside of what the Bible talks about. Modern medicine, for example. So you should not ignore those things
Psychology in and of itself isn’t “unbiblical” any more than medical science. You have to take everything and see if it aligns with scripture or not. As someone who got away from a narcissistic mother, please, RUN from any person including romantic partners who display narcissistic traits NO MATTER how much you may be drawn to them. It’s been 4 years since I went no contact and I’m still struggling with emotional, mental and physical consequences like autoimmune problems, sleep issues and memory problems due to the years of stress and cortisol. Keep trusting God. In due time he WILL bring you a wonderful godly spouse. Don’t settle, ever.

@@vin711 what I would do too is educate yourself on the subject as well because it will help you in the long term and not be deceived or manipulated by toxic people. Though it was an awful experience to go through I can say with confidence God is bringing me forth like gold being tried by the fire
My X-daughter-in-law has a sleeve tattoo n she had piercings.. When she got saved … everything gone but the tattoo.. That was between her and God.. God looks at your heart.. There is scripture about these things but until you see the light they are just coverings in the outside of your body. Answering your question.. No ( my Opinion) .. you could be the one that he sees Jesus in you ✌️… of course pray about it….🤲
