Just looking at the Thorm family history reveals an ENTIRE story, which just scratches the surface of the deep and in-depth lore of Baulder's gate 3. This is very well put together and I thank you for the historical lecture of this video.
@seivar2415 I totally agree! There's so much depth to nearly every aspect of the game and I feel like I learn more about the lore with every new playthrough. Thanks for watching 😁
1.44 Me. I was one of the people that read every single book. Hoarded them, even. We dug up a chest and it was big and sturdy, and I decided to just keep carrying the empty treasure chest around. It became a treasure trove of knowledge. By the end of that Campaign, we had nearly one thousand books and the entirety of the chest's contents were worth around 13,000 gold in total.
Ok my inly cinstructive criticism is anyone looking at something as niche as chatacter backgrounds doesnt need an intro that bg3 was critically acclained etc. video doesnt actually start till 3:00 min
@georgecoman8448 To be honest, I'm unsure how/if the Merregon is connected to the Thorms, so I omitted it from the video. If you know more about the connection, I'd love to learn more, thanks for watching 😁
@@thedanielblake Its me, the book hoarder man So, that demon commander is the giant 'hellbeast' that busted down the walls in Grymforge. He and his forces were responsible for the slaughter of the Sharrans 120 years ago during the war, which is supported by the Duergar archeologists when asking the players for help investigating, pointing to the melted masonry and sulfuric crystal deposits on the rock. As for the reason he's there, it's because Raphael wanted him under his thumb for some reason that I can't quite remember. Raphael sent him to wipe the Sharrans out, but then appeared to one of the Dark Justiciars to offer his help hiding from the Merregon commander, by showing him how to turn into a swarm of rats. Ensuring that the demon would be forever contract-bound. Why Raphael chose Ketheric's forces/Sharrans, I'm unsure.
And to think, all of this happened because Ketheric wanted pictures of Spider-Man.
@@HelghastTrooper Truly, a noble cause🤣 Thanks for watching!

I always appreciate perspectives on how to improve my videos, so I thank you for your criticism 😁 Thanks for watching!
did you not bloody address the giant demon commander in the underdark?
