    “Magical” I’ve thought the same thing. It really can take a normal patch or performance and turn it in to something you’ll listen to over and over. Thanks for sharing a demo that highlights the music it was fun to watch.

    I had no idea this was a Huang based channel - I just bought a Mimeophone and was looking for good patch ideas, but once I heard the voice, I checked the channel name... then clicked that subscribe button!

    Realizes: It's his alt account *facepalm*

    For anyone else who wasn't familiar with it, the term Andrew drops at 7:48 is "Karplus-Strong synthesis"

    Big wow. I always thought Rainmaker was the ultimate delay, but MakeNoise always manages to take it into a completely different direction. Really cool you have a channel dedicated to modular.

    Hey man, great job. Just one question. How do you change the scales in Marbles? Do you use an automation (trigger/cv)?

    • @suturesound
      @suturesound  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In this case I just left it in its internal minor scale mode the whole time. I don't know if you can CV a change, other than giving it new data to sample

  • @MikeFilemaker
    @MikeFilemaker 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So when do you choose this over Rainmaker and vice versa?

    • @suturesound
      @suturesound  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Rainmaker for the randomization, way more taps, comb filter, presets. Mimeophon for immediacy and more possibility for gritty character.

  • @macbury18
    @macbury18 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    What would you say are your favourite modules to start a patch with? I'm talking VCO's, Envelopes, sequencers etc and then one key mutli-function for someone looking to get into modular? I'm really digging the randomness that comes from it, especially the probability aspects.

    • @suturesound
      @suturesound  4 ปีที่แล้ว +7
