Why do I learn English? Because I wanted to have a better and happier life I’m 20 years I was born in a pretty poor family my parents couldn’t afford me for education. So I had to quit school after graduation of middle school then I started working since 15 in the restaurant and my salary was so little ( 8k - 9k ) then I thought if I have just only this education I would be working and earning this amount of money for the rest of my life and wouldn’t be able to get even minimum wage .So I didn’t know what to do and I was a bit depressed of myself as well then I found hotel jobs they don’t care about your degree if you can speak English and salary is more higher than the restaurant I worked so I went and applied but I got rejected because I couldn’t speak English after that a few weeks I found your channel this “English room” it’d completely changed my life. I started to watch and learn it was so hard at first but now it’s been 3 years and I learned a lot from this “ English room “ and now I work in 5 star hotel in Bangkok and I can earn ( 25k-30k ) per month with my 20years old and วุฒิม.3 . I've been observing this channel but she is the guest speaker ( the one and only) who I spent time watching and kind of love her ways in expressing the ideas and her level of lanuguage. She used different word choices that sounded sophisticated ( super) i.e. self-indulged, experimental, reflective ( experiences she witnessed the first hand), accomodating, reasonable, design a product per se, internal perspective, top down point of views, contextual, ...love the words..unraval idiosyncrasy ...very very sophisticated word uses in the casual manner....I could say charming... Ps. The opening of the show is kind of misleading...it tried to connect the dots by the uses of learning experiences but ended up with making audiencs confused as it higlighted the award...way way too much!
I learn English because English is a significant medium to communicate with people around the world who have different backgrounds from me and open my mind to understand the world, people and culture that why I decided to study Anthropology, and it worth my time. There are many people in the world speak English as their second language or third language, please do not worry about making mistakes, it is normally. Practicing is the best way to improve your English skills. Do not hesitate to speak English.

Even though I was born in family that no one can’t speak English. But I think I have a good effort and braveness. I remembered when I was an exchange student for work and travel and worked at Sea world in Florida. A man with British accent asked for a cup of ice, and all of the Native speakers didn’t understand him, and the old man had to repeat himself several times, and I was the first one who could actually catch what he said as a Thai person learning both British and American English. The man was upset, walked away and said “thought you guys spoke English .” Lol 😂 it was so hilarious.

Why do I learn English? I learn English as it is another door way to an international world as well as google in English gives me most of the answer I’m conscious about in life.
For me there are many reasons to learn English; the first one is I want to get more knowledge when I interest in something I am able to find out it both in Thai and English so I found that sometime it's totally different information.The second is opportunities to get better job. And the last one is I don't want to read translated books once I know English I can read it myself:)😊😊
Why I do I learn English. เมื่อก่อนหนูไม่ชอบเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเลยค่ะ แต่ในทางกลับกันชอบฟังเพลงภาษาอังกฤษมากกกก (เติบโตมากับเพลง Britney, backstreet boys) แต่เวลาสอบหรือวัดผลใดๆ ก็ตามเกรดจะจบอยู่ที่ D (คือเต็มที่แล้วจริงๆ ค่ะ) ซึ่งความสามารถทางภาษาอยู่ในระดับคงที่มาตลอดจนจบ ป.ตรี ค่ะ หนูสนใจภาษาอังกฤษมาตลอดนะคะ แต่ก็กลัวมาตลอด จนมาถึงเวลาทำงานเราต้องพบเจอลูกค้าต่างชาติบ้าง ต้องเริ่มไปทำงานต่างประเทศ ทำให้วันหนึ่งเราเริ่มกล้าพูด ก็พูดแบบถูกๆ ผิดๆ ไปแหล่ะค่ะ เริ่มอ่านหนังสือภาษาอังกฤษบ้างแบบง่ายๆ ทำให้เรามีโอกาสได้เปิดโลกมากขึ้น จนมาเรียน ป.โท แล้วมีการสอบวัดผลภาษาอังกฤษ แล้วเราผ่านในรอบเดียว คือดีใจมากกกกก ดีใจกว่าเกรดใดๆ ที่ผ่านมาทั้งหมดอีกค่ะ และเหตุการณ์นั้นยังเป็นเหมือนเกราะเสริมความมั่นใจในตัวเรา มันยังทำให้เรากล้าที่จะออกไปเผชิญโลกด้วยตัวคนเดียว ไปเที่ยวต่างประเทศคนเดียวได้โดยที่ไม่กลัวว่าจะหลงทางหรือสื่อสารไม่ได้ใดๆ Thanks u English u make me more.

When I was young,I think English is very difficult for me. I can't remember vocabularies and grammatical structures. Now,I realize that I have to practice English as much as I can. to know more is the reason why i study english, so i can read and listen to someone's else story, and also, i can convey my story through writing and speaking. talking about learning english, your english room is one of the most cozy platform to study not only english but also all the guests' point of view. and in your show, you'd point interesting words out for us that's a very didactic manner of yours that sometimes it might derail your guest's story a bit but i can see your effort not to do it but i'd rather suggest you not to point them all and conclude it after that topic or before breaks. let them guess vocab by contexts, let it challenge them.but the drawback of this option is it would require an airtime for it and put loads of works on you as a host. this is my opinion as a viewer so i'd leave it on your consideration as my suggestion cus i cant disagree that your show is imperfect but it's also the way that makes your show more interesting in every single episode, because you always listen to us and make your show better. ps. about the award winning issue i think it about the line, it would have sounded a lot better if the guest had brought it up for you. but it okey after all. ps2. im writing this comment mostly because i want you to know we can see your hard work and you’ve come so far from the first episode. and we’re looking forward to your next episode :) love, your student

แต่อย่างไรก็ตามอยากให้พี่ลูกมีกำลังใจ ไม่อยากให้พี่ลูกตีความคอมเม้นในคลิปนี้ว่าพี่ลูกไม่ใช่ผู้ฟังที่ดีเลยตลอดเวลาที่ผ่านๆมา ทั้งๆที่อาจจะผิดพลาดไปบ้าง แค่นี้พี่ลูกเจ๋งมากๆแล้ว ในฐานะครูสอนภาษาและดีเจพี่ลูกก็ได้รับความชื่นชมมากกว่าคำติติงหลายเท่าและมีจุดยืนทางการสอนเกินมาตรฐานไปไกลมาก และยิ่งไกลมากคนก็อาจจะคาดหวังมากละมั้ง ยังไงขอให้อย่าหมดกำลังใจน้า เราเชื่ออยู่แล้วว่าพี่ลูกเป็นคนไม่หยุดนิ่งในการเรียนรู้และพัฒนา ไม่งั้นจะเป็นครูที่สร้างแรงบันดาลใจมาขนาดนี้ได้ยังไงจริงมั้ย สู้ๆเนาะพี่ลูก กอดดดดด

จริงๆ native speakers ใช้เยอะนะคะ /มา/ด้เป็นคำแปลกใหม่อะไร แต่ประเทศไทยใช้คำอื่นที่มากกว่า เลยไม่ค่อยได้ยินคนใช้ per se เลยเหมือนศัพท์คนเรียนเพื่อสอบวัดระดับภาษา หรือศัพท์คนเรียนโท-เอกไปซะฉิบ

I learn English because English is a significant medium to communicate with people around the world who have different backgrounds from me and open my mind to understand the world, people and culture that why I decided to study Anthropology, and it worth my time. There are many people in the world speak English as their second language or third language, please do not worry about making mistakes, it is normally. Practicing is the best way to improve your English skills. Do not hesitate to speak English.

Even though I was born in family that no one can’t speak English. But I think I have a good effort and braveness.
I have a dream that I want to travel abroad but it’s really hard to come true cause my family not rich.
So as a Thai person,I only want to speak English for helping the foreigners that come to travel at my hometown to have a good feeling ,good memory and good experience from Thai people like I wish if I have chance to go abroad.
I wish someday Thai people will dare to speak English more than this and don’t let language is being the obstacle of the goodwill and kindness to people that i strongly believe that all people have it.

Speaking many languages is good if you like it. Language is a tool for human to communicate and make a relationship with others. I am not from a rich family either, but I have a dream. I like to travel too. I want to see the word, talk to many people, and earn my life experience. Right now, I am a stay-home mom and take care of my family.
Fortunately, you can practice English if you have internet and electronic device. In my time, I did not have a chance like yours.

I remembered when I was an exchange student for work and travel and worked at Sea world in Florida. A man with British accent asked for a cup of ice, and all of the Native speakers didn’t understand him, and the old man had to repeat himself several times, and I was the first one who could actually catch what he said as a Thai person learning both British and American English. The man was upset, walked away and said “thought you guys spoke English .” Lol 😂 it was so hilarious.

Why do I learn English?
I learn English as it is another door way to an international world as well as google in English gives me most of the answer I’m conscious about in life.
fir me 3rd lsnguage is important too, now many people can speak English but not many could speak 3rd language
For me there are many reasons to learn English; the first one is I want to get more knowledge when I interest in something I am able to find out it both in Thai and English so I found that sometime it's totally different information.The second is opportunities to get better job. And the last one is I don't want to read translated books once I know English I can read it myself:)😊😊
Why I do I learn English.
เมื่อก่อนหนูไม่ชอบเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเลยค่ะ แต่ในทางกลับกันชอบฟังเพลงภาษาอังกฤษมากกกก (เติบโตมากับเพลง Britney, backstreet boys) แต่เวลาสอบหรือวัดผลใดๆ ก็ตามเกรดจะจบอยู่ที่ D (คือเต็มที่แล้วจริงๆ ค่ะ) ซึ่งความสามารถทางภาษาอยู่ในระดับคงที่มาตลอดจนจบ ป.ตรี ค่ะ หนูสนใจภาษาอังกฤษมาตลอดนะคะ แต่ก็กลัวมาตลอด จนมาถึงเวลาทำงานเราต้องพบเจอลูกค้าต่างชาติบ้าง ต้องเริ่มไปทำงานต่างประเทศ ทำให้วันหนึ่งเราเริ่มกล้าพูด ก็พูดแบบถูกๆ ผิดๆ ไปแหล่ะค่ะ เริ่มอ่านหนังสือภาษาอังกฤษบ้างแบบง่ายๆ ทำให้เรามีโอกาสได้เปิดโลกมากขึ้น จนมาเรียน ป.โท แล้วมีการสอบวัดผลภาษาอังกฤษ แล้วเราผ่านในรอบเดียว คือดีใจมากกกกก ดีใจกว่าเกรดใดๆ ที่ผ่านมาทั้งหมดอีกค่ะ และเหตุการณ์นั้นยังเป็นเหมือนเกราะเสริมความมั่นใจในตัวเรา มันยังทำให้เรากล้าที่จะออกไปเผชิญโลกด้วยตัวคนเดียว ไปเที่ยวต่างประเทศคนเดียวได้โดยที่ไม่กลัวว่าจะหลงทางหรือสื่อสารไม่ได้ใดๆ Thanks u English u make me more.
The reason why I should learn English,in my opinion, because it can get a lot of great opportunities to learn the new things and also can learn various culture in the world by using English to communicate with others. It’s like open the new world.

When I was young,I think English is very difficult for me. I can't remember vocabularies and grammatical structures. Now,I realize that I have to practice English as much as I can. If you know English,you will gain knowledge from many sources.

to know more is the reason why i study english, so i can read and listen to someone's else story, and also, i can convey my story through writing and speaking.
talking about learning english, your english room is one of the most cozy platform to study not only english but also all the guests' point of view. and in your show, you'd point interesting words out for us that's a very didactic manner of yours that sometimes it might derail your guest's story a bit but i can see your effort not to do it but i'd rather suggest you not to point them all and conclude it after that topic or before breaks. let them guess vocab by contexts, let it challenge them.but the drawback of this option is it would require an airtime for it and put loads of works on you as a host. this is my opinion as a viewer so i'd leave it on your consideration as my suggestion cus i cant disagree that your show is imperfect but it's also the way that makes your show more interesting in every single episode, because you always listen to us and make your show better.
ps. about the award winning issue i think it about the line, it would have sounded a lot better if the guest had brought it up for you. but it okey after all.
ps2. im writing this comment mostly because i want you to know we can see your hard work and you’ve come so far from the first episode. and we’re looking forward to your next episode :)
