    I also started with Brothread small spool for my SE1900 and started using Madeira with my Ricoma and now I'm happy that Brothread came out with the big spool. Thanks for sharing the link in the group for the Brothread 25 count.

      To hear later, do you still use the spools or are you using Madera or are you using ice cord? I would love to know in your professional opinion if there is really a big difference structurally between the spread and I accord or Madera threads one last thing do you feel that client really notice a difference????

    Thanks for sharing! In my opinion, for the price you can’t go wrong. It really is a nice thread, all of my machines, multi needle and single needle, embroider very well with it. Very rarely get thread breaks. The first thread I bought was the Madeira thread chest, cost me a fortune but I was a newbie and didn’t know any better!

    Yes, I love BroThread! Been using it since it first came out. All my machines like it. Also bought the 3-stacking plastic cases for the smaller 550m spools for my traveling kit. Very interested to see how you STORE these in your room. I'm on the cusp of just having something built as no thread racks hold even the 1000m king-spools very well. Hope to see ya tonight on Live.

  • @janomalley

    I bet those round cushions are due to the notch problem in the bases of each large cone. Thread catches on those notches! I've broken many needles when they catch in a flash even though I'm watching closely. I tried inverting the cones but then the thread falls off the cone and makes a mess. Maybe the net helps keep the thread off the notch! The quality of the thread is terrific, it's just those darn notches on the bottom. Thanks for this video and the links! :)

    Thanks for the info. but I'm still confused on threads for embroidery quilting I know very easy 😊 but I have floriani thread that I got when I bought my sewing machine they are noce but high priced. I ordered the Nanny thread not as crazy about them . Never tried brothread wondering if they are better. I went to register for a class at my sewing center and I needed variegated thread they said this thread is getting very popular because there is no white mixed color in it ? Bought on it called Fabulux. Then everyone says other brands 🤷‍♀️

    Hi Jeanette. How often You change your needle when doing multicolor. What’s the best needle for denim’s

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Manuel. You should always change your needles after 8 hours of sewing. I use my machines alot filling orders so I routinely change mine every 3 days. It's recommended to use xize 11 or 75/11 sharp sewing needle, or embroidery needle, to embroider on denim.

    Hello beautiful… How do the brothread compare to Madeira? That’s a great buy I may have to pick up a box

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lucy. I prefer the Brothread than the Maderia and here is why. The quality of the thread is just the same as the Maderia. You get the same amount of thread at a much cheaper price. If you run out of a specific color and need to get another spool you can buy them individually at their website. They sell for $4.99 a big cone. Maderia does have more colors available and you can get their color card, but I personally am good with the color Brothread offer.
