It is really good to see that Filter System without Vegetation to get more insight on it. Of course, plants do wonders for the Pond, yet just for us viewers to see what it is like without the plants is really appreciated. Your video has now been given the Third like to say thankyou very much for sharing. Have a great Week. Take care, Sir. 👍🏼🙂👍🏼❤️
@chu0435 It is my pleasure, Sir. Thankyou very much. By the way, the Koi are really looking big now since I last watched your previous video. Keep up the good work. 👍🏼🙂👍🏼❤️
@chu0435 You are welcome, Sir. They will soon go to the bottom of the Pond for the winter, so they will not be looking to eat as much as they are looking for food. 👍🏼🙂👍🏼❤️
Just sub to your channel. Wow, your filter system is amazing but too complicated for me. I will check your other videos out, cause I am curious how you clean it. 👍
I don't have a bottom drain cause I don't want to cut my pond liner is a mess to fix future leaks, I have a 4,000 gal pump position at the deepest part of the pond that acts as a bottom drain and it goes to the sieve filter
I would advise you to build your pond as simple as possible, whatever size you want to build at first double that size when you build it, cause in a few months you will think that your pond is too small and that you should've built it bigger. Don't cut into your linener trust me it will have you so much hassle in the long run. Incorporate aquaponic into your filter design. I used the new energy efficient pump that delivers 4,200 gal/HR but it only use about 120 watts, cost around $70. Hope that helps, Good luck!
I didn’t know that you shouldn’t feed your koi when it’s cold. Thank you for the information and the update on your system! Love it.
Thank you

Where do you get all the cap? I went to my recycling center and they have an small empty bin.
I work in a pharmacy, those are all medicine bottles caps
Is there a bottom drain there? Or just a skimmer?

Is that 150micron stainless steel mesh
Yes sir
Which stainless steel you use 304 or 316 stainless steel
It's been awhile since I bought it I don't remember
Thanks you👍
No problem
I love it but I would rather see something like red volcanic Rock or clay balls rather than plastic
Plastic float so is easier to clean
I’m gonna take a guess that you work in a pharmacy ? Lol
You are correct sir
How did you build the big waterfall?
I mostly use cinder blocks to form the water fall and lots of cement
