1991 Marshfield, Mass. me and my gf were renting a house right on the ocean, sliding glass doors led to the porch right to the seawall, waves stated crashing on the roof, we should've evacuated much earlier but I was mesmerized by green seawater running down the windows, it was amazing, but the a wave brought a boulder crashed through the glass doors, that was it, I tried driving away but was flooded in both sides, I backed up as far as I could and we watched for 10 hours while the ocean washed the house out to sea, only the foundation was left, luckily we survived, craziest thing that ever happened to me. 🙏
Holy smokes that's rough 😳 I'd have probably done same the I love storms
Damn!
Heck of a story.
I wonder if that place is for rent, again?
OMG!! Are you pulling our leg?? I don’t think you are and I’m so horrified of drowning especially in cold, icy water. That was a great share and thank you for sharing. If you have any photos of before and after, you should post them on your page. If you do, please tag me too because I’d love to see them.
OMG! Sheer terror! The power of the sea is overwhelming! Thank all that is holy, you are safe!
@@johnbartley7101 it’s gone! Thank God they were safe!!!! And the power of the sea! Not to mention, not shark food! The Channel is treacherous!!!!!!!
In the US we call them the
Coast Guard! They are heroes. Every single one of them!!!!!
Not that I’m out in the seas, but so grateful for their service in saving our friends and neighbors who are ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ imagine needing to be towed into Safe Harbor out of the English Channel??? When at any minute you could capsize??? Hero’s, pure hero’s !!
Pretty sure everywhere calls them the coast gaurd
one of the most beautiful programmes I have ever watched
Absolutely beautiful scenes of the mighty ocean at its fiercest. I have always loved that picture of the lighthouse being swallowed by the waves with its keeper standing in the doorway like the waves were nothing. The final part of the video would have been much better without the soundtrack added in. The ocean doesn’t ever need additional sounds added, it’s majestic on its own.
The helicopter pilot crazy talented! Scared the hell out of me!
Beautiful documentary! There is something so powerful and majestic about the ocean storms. A raw beauty on the Shetlands and Azores. I would love to go there now.
I love every single second of this! Thanks
I've watched this a couple of times now just love it, thankyou ❤👏👏
Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia is incredible during a storm.
My homeland ❤ such a beautiful place to live
The pilot is NATURAL in that environment..respect
Wow! As a small boat circumnavigator, this doc really resonates with me.
WOW, helicopter pilots amazing maneuver about 30 feet above seawater these men are willing to take risks to make the documentary I give them a 100% thumb up ///
Respect for these brave men who risk their own lives to save others during storms on the high seas.
Now this is worth sharing... I loved the part explain life on the Isle. Am sure the 60 people living there are wondering how life outside or out here feels like..
Excellent captured with the big wave, flirting with scary waves. Brilliant piloting.
Passionate and hardworking people can save the world, nice duc.
it's mighty experiences of the resident, the working men n women also a true story of the mighty sea's.
Great shots! I hope to make a short film like this soon via my drones. Thanks for sharing...
Earth will let you know....that is absolute.
Beautiful. ❤
Wow! How gorgeous!
All fantastic locations, but man, the coastline of Brittany is the best. I hope to visit someday during winter.
Incrível! Muito obrigada...❤

This was an incredible doc
Thrilling photo shoot 👍🏻 Starting music of video is good
A narrativa deveria ser em português. A natureza é magestosa como seu CRIADOR, JEOVÁ.
Truly an awesome video thank you so much for the outstanding work you put into this video those people are heroes for just living there... I would love to sit down and talk for a full day with Captain storm all the stories he could tell me thank you folks
Thank You! Scary Storms👍💪
Greetings from Switzeland
HELLO FROM TEXAS 🇨🇱
Awesome 👌
Who pays for the stunning shots taken in the Helicopter , helicopters do not come cheap .
Wow just wow 👍
Pity this film did not include Fasnet Lighthouse off the southwest coast of Ireland. The most western point of Europe in the Atlantic.
Shoutout to Ontario ca.canada.spain.country.hi Bello there me Annan wChing ur chanel
@Virginia Pascual ?
The "A" Zores!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🙌Ast🙌
Amazing video, for a mom3nt really worried for that helicopter crew, guys, stay safe!
wow...! Those rocks though! Imagine the Mermaids
🐉 Lol 😂
serious, at one point i thought the waves have submerged the plane. he is indeed experience pilot.
How did they ever build that lighthouse. They should make a doc on that.
How do they make the lighthouses
What a nightmarish beauty!….if that! makes any sense….
22:31 I need to know this song. I need it
I would love to make a home there
How crazy are these people? I mean, I thought Poseidon had dominion over the sea, not Neptune. 🙂
Anyone knows the intro's track name?
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What would it take for me to move to one of the Azores Islands? I want to be isolated and live a simple life off the land , me and my kid. Are homes rented out there? Can I still receive ssi benefits ?
This dude needs a drone….!
en español por favor
So did they seriously catch 2 UFO's at 10:19 above the helicopter whatever it was was fast as heck then bloop gone
😮 hd indeed
Wow. Well spotted.
why did they closed the lighthouses
The Azores 🧐

Risky frisky
Fair but theatrical and not much information, long with limited interest , a narrative.
Wow that is stupid flying that low over the waves of anything happens they're dead plus they put rescuers lives at risk they need to take his pilots license away for 6 months and have him resit the safety part of his pilots license examination taking those risks just for photos is mental
Pretty sure they know what they’re doing. But thanks for the information. I’m sure they appreciate it.
don't be scared
Anyone else spot the ufo at thestart?
Ya talking about the 2 at 10min 19 sec above the helicopter the white thing after the first there's a second one farther away just for a split sec even seems like the camera operator reacted to it
@@craigbinder5560 thats it. Camera man spotted it as his frame moved up.
Sea gull ?
That was my first thought but they didn't change shape when changing directions and if it was a out of focus gull it would of changed shape due to the bird lifting the opposite wing to the turn direction and lowering the wing facing the turn I saw none of that but in all honesty there's insufficient data would love to have the footage they didn't use that day and any footage from a different camera
If l try to watch a documentary and starts with orchestral drumming and crashing sound effects then l immediately turn off. This was a bit of alright already at the very beginning.
I thought my cats ill not seeking shelter from the storm.,you guys take the cake for flying your helicopter too low needlessly. I.e. telephoto lenses.
Why do we have the term sea level when it isn't level?
I hope this is a joke lol
@@lbtolbTheJourney Well, yeah, I did want to make you laugh, but I do wonder why...
@@julieisthatart haha good, I just know I've seen worse comments where they were serious 🥴
❤😅
You would think they would be speaking English Shetland isles part of Scotland
They speak English with an accent.
Hope your cleaning your engine with soap after every flight due to corrosion!
Great video but some really cheesy narration/dubbing in there
Wonder what all that salt spray does to a helicopter?
oscar charlie female? i though it was a machine not a living creature
😂not at all storm chasing 💩what the???
lol reported stolen documentaries
The churches watch over nobody u watch over yourselves
Much less interesting then I was hoping
All's it takes is one time it one time either the pilot just mistakes it or there's a mechanical failure and they're all dead totally irresponsible if it was being done to prevent harm coming to someone fair enough but just for photos is just totally irresponsible and stupid
