- The plan is to do an All My Dolls video every year (twice if it seems warranted). I have always loved seeing other people's entire collection in one video and I hope that you enjoy seeing MY collection condensed into one video. Of course, it's ALREADY outdated since we got the Hoffman twins a couple days ago. :-)

Not me with a new video ALREADY being outdated lol. This doesn't include the Hoffman twins, but it does make reference to "the four Joss mold dolls" and now there are six. Oh well 🙂

Great collection! We have Addy, Rebecca, Kanani, Blaire and Joss in common. 55, Evette and a CYO are on my wish list.
Ooh - do you plan to do an updated All My Dolls video? I just subscribed to your channel and I see that you're still posting but haven't done and AMD video in ten years!! I would love to see your collection :-)

I was waiting to decide on purchasing Evette (her hair intimidates me), but may go ahead with what I have and update as needed. 🙂 This AG community is phenomenal. After so many years I jumped back in and the connection between existing and new subs has been the best! I’m learning so much about the new world of AG. Thanks again! 🤗
@@AGZoeEve I can't wait. And for what it's worth - I think Evette's hair is GREAT! It's obviously not meant to be brushed, but I've put it in a low braid, two low pigtails, a bun, space buns, and a few other styles and I feel like it still looks like it did out of the box. Also, how awesome that you're back and being embraced by old and new subscribers alike :-)
Simone and Piper are tied in my book. Very different, but very similar, and both so cute. I also agree about the purple hair, but that Naomi still needed to join the doll family. I think it's the light brown eyes that pull her look together (very similar to #86). So cute. :) Kaya is "humoring an idiot, but not for much longer." So funny.
Yes, Simone is definitely one of my favorites. And to think I didn't even design her and got her for $50! Agreed about Naomi, and I'm not wrong about Kaya, am I? lol

My first ever doll was TM 53 and I had her until I think 2021 when something went down and she's lost to me. I plan to grab her someday when I have the funds because she holds an absolutely special place in my heart. I did restart collecting a year ago. My first purchase was McKenna Brooks, my grail doll, and then Grace. I wasn't a fan of her until she arrived. Pitcures have never done her justice for me
We (obviously) don't have McKenna. We've had her in the past and if we had more room in our collection we would probably keep her. I wasn't initially drawn to her because of her hair, but as soon as I flip it to one side or the other a bit, I instantly liked her more. And I completely agree with you about Grace. Photos do not do her justice.
Great collection and they are dressed very nice. Love the hair color on #11! I had two TLC dolls that i bought several wigs for to change them up once and a while, one of them I covered with freckles, arms, legs too. She came out really cute I think. But I sold them boo hoo. I just recently bought a PC Molly at a doll show and I just love her and I am trying to piece together her original meet outfit, just got her glasses too. Have fun playing!!
People rarely put freckles on their dolls' arms and legs, but I really like that. What made you decide to sell those customs?
I was downsizing and we needed some money, the usual story. But I kept all of the historicals and one #19 that looked closest to my daughter.

Thank you. I don't mean it to be performative or fetishizing at all, but having a diverse collection does matter to me. I want my daughter to grow up with more representative toys, books, tv shows, etc than I did.

All my doll vids are the BEST! I was struck by Tobias this time around - I grew up reading the Animorphs books, which had a blonde named Tobias in them, so he just really hit me this time around, he's cute! Tai is one of your dolls that I always love to see, she's striking. I ADORE Margot's go-to wig, she looks SO CUTE. I love the outfit Lea is wearing; I've been thinking of trying to find a good deal on that one. Amara is so pretty, and she looks great in that outfit. I didn't realize Ginny was a #17! My childhood doll, Donna, is an AGOT17. Thank you for sharing, I love these sorts of videos so much.
I'm glad you liked it! Margot's wig is called Erin and it's from Zazou on Etsy. I agree Tai is gorgeous! I wonder if your Donna is in better shape than poor Ginny (cut lashes, hacked hair, a huge hole in her abdomen covered up with duct tape...she's scrappy). And I wish you the best of luck finding a great price on the outfit Lea's wearing ;-) Those pieces are so hard to come by, but every once in a while someone sells it without realizing what they go for so there's hope.

And about the painted lashes, I really wish AG had gone the route of vinyl lashes as an add-on. That would've been an win-win. If you don't want them, you don't buy them but you pay the same base price. If you do want them, you DO buy them, which means you spend more money (good for AG). And they could have given several options, which I think kids, teens, and adults would have loved. Instead, we're all stuck with whatever AG picked. 🙄I'm glad you liked the video!!

You have beautiful dolls!!! 🥰 I only have 2 customized dolls in my collection of 23. The first is an Evette who had super busted-up hair, from Goodwill (gave her a redhead wig and she looks incredible!)
The second is a mini-me I decided to create after seeing your wife’s post on AGIG at the AG Live show with both of your mini-mes - they were so adorable I was envious!!! My new mini-me is named Barbara, she’s my glam diva alter-ego 😂 she’s actually a 68 with a new Dallas Doll wig, and I painted her face 😅 I came to AG from the BJD world, I just love the AG community so much more. I love how you thoughtfully built your collection. ❤
Oh thanks so much - does the AG world seem more affordable compared to BJDs? I don't know much about them but I know the price tag on Smart Dolls made my jaw hit the floor lol. Your doll with the pierced nose, did you actually drill a hole? I have “pierced” my 47’s nose by just gluing down a gem sticker.

I did actually do a nose piercing. Thumbtack instead of drill and a jump ring became the hoop. I like the gem idea though. And I'm sorry you missed out on Teo. I come across him occasionally. If you want me to keep an eye out, email me your price range (agtakesover@gmail.com)

I'd watched that show but not for a while now, so I had to go back and look - you're totally right!
I don't seem to have any luck finding 31 or 50 or really any of the modern Addy mould dolls (I feel like it might be some sort of curse for getting rid of my #18) so those are the ones from your collection that.
Also, your impeccable ability to find CYO Sonali moulds with good placement of eyes!

I absolutely love your collection! All of your customs are so pretty! Nellie has always been one of my dream dolls and my mom got her this year for me for my birthday off Ebay! I also got an Elizabeth doll in great condition at Once Upon A Child for only $30!
That is a fantastic deal on Elizabeth! Was your Nellie orange? We had to send ours to the hospital for all new (non-orange) head and limbs, and she is just as gorgeous as can be. And we do have some lovely CYOs - we've lucked out and gotten all but the two we created for well below retail.

@@thatdamfangirl it's actually a known defect with Nellie dolls. I think something similar happens with Kailey, but just those two and not all of them. They've since changed their policy but AG used to do vinyl replacements for free when that happened.

I love your collection and their wardrobe! I so far only have Evette. I am going to Orlando (from Nova Scotia, Canada) in April for my 50th birthday, and am so happy I get to go to an American Doll store. I can't wait to see them in person and pick one out.

Love to hear other's opinions. As far as Blaire, I totally agree. As far as the worst, I did not like Lanie's meet. In fact, she was in her butterfly outfit for the first year. I now have her meet because I found it cheap.
How funny that this comment showed up on the "all my dolls" video. But I know which video you're talking about. I'm glad you appreciate Blaire's meet as much as I do. And Lanie's meet outfit didn't make my bottom three, but if I got it in a random lot I'd probably sell it lol.

I love 77, I think he's a really under-appreciated doll. Mine's been customised, but I'm glad I have him in some form.
I love your Simone and Wren. I've a variety of dolls that share attributes with them, so I wouldn't one that looks *just* like her, but I love looking at yours. Similarly, Penelope. Does she have decal or pinwheel eyes? I ask because they're a lovely shade of green!
I wouldn't have thought much about 104 at all, but I do like yours. I don't think I'd ever realised he looks so sweet.
I adore your Evie - I really feel that she's what Evette should've looked like (as much as I find that doll lovely too). It feels like AG's been moving away from using the Addy mould at all, really.
Dani is adorable - I would LOVE if you someday did a tutorial on nose rings.
I would like to get 75, too.

Your Kaya's face is *fantastic* - have you ever thought of customising/rewigging one? I've found that Kaya's are so easy to find cheaply, and they make such lovely customs with their sweet face. I've one that's waiting for me to dye her.
Your Kavi 100% is the reason I've decided to get her over 117; she'll likely be my next doll purchase, unless some screaming deal on the secondary market happens.

Thanks so much! Penelope's has decal eyes - hazel like Nanea's. I would be happy to do a nose-piercing tutorial. I'm going to be updating my TM55 Sidney in order to make her look more like current me (as opposed to childhood me) and that will require piercing her nose that will work perfectly. As for the Addy mold...yeah, you'd think AG straight up hates Addy. They've never made a second named character with her mold. Addy was released four years prior to Josefina, yet they've made: Evette, Grace, Lea, Luciana, Rebecca, Julie, Marisol, Chrissa, McKenna, Blaire, AND Kira. ELEVEN named dolls with that mold since Josefina came out. Meanwhile, Addy's been around longer and has ZERO. sigh.

I've only been collecting AG for 1.5 years, yet have somehow already have 27! 😲 (Mostly at great prices second hand, thanks to Facebook Marketplace and Mercari)
The dolls I purchased directly from AG are:
Evette, Maritza, Corinne, TM58, Claudie, and now Isabelle Hoffman. (Waiting for a sale and rewards points before I purchase Nicki H.)
(Like you, Maritza isn't one that I'm bonding with and may just be the one that I end up selling)
I also have second hand: Saige ($10 thrift store find) Julie, Grace, Lea, Nanea, Jess, Kit, Nellie, 1 Beforever Molly, 1 PC Molly, TM38, Nicki Fleming, Tenney, Caroline, Lanie (wearing a Beforever Samantha wig) Melody, Maryellen, Gabriella, Addy, TM30, and a JLY52.
No boy dolls, and no CYOs in my collection.
On my wish list is a TM55, and either Blair or JLY61, and *maybe* TM115 since I don't have any Marie-Grace face mold and I'm still not 100% sold on Kavi - even though YOUR Kavi is beginning to change my mind, lol)

TM55 is my mini-me, though she's a mini-me of me as a childhood and she's about to get a makeover to better match what I look like now. And YES - FB Marketplace is probably where I have gotten the majority of our second-hand dolls!

What a beautiful family of dolls. Where do you keep them all? Are they on display?
Thank you! Yes, they're on display. 50ish are in the doll room/my office. Some others are on a bookshelf in our bedroom. The remaining few are either stored (I believe 4) or in our daughters' rooms. You can see the displays in the dollroom if you watch my "Organizing My Doll Room" video (I don't recall the exact title, but it's part two of a two-video series).
Also, this Thursday I'm posting my unboxing of the Silly Monkey Doll Stuff mystery bag I ordered :-) :-)
