Installing glove box light - Corsa D

A short video from the installing of glove box light.
In the case of our Corsa D (2011, after facelift), the housing of the glove compartment had already prepared a hole and a switch. So we only had to buy a lamp (about 5€) and connect the power supply.
The power cables can be pulled on different ways: from the lighter, from the interior lighting, directly from the fuse box.
The film shows the first option.
Access to the lighter sockets can also be obtained in several ways: pull the socket with cables forward, through the housing, or remove the central tunnel to have convenient access (shown in the video - requires removing 4 screws and 1 nut), or just unscrew the side cover under the front console and try to disconnect the plug (if someone has a thin fingers :-) ).

Bardzo biedna niestety. Taką biedę to pamiętam jeszcze ze starej bravy. Ale tam przynajmniej kable do wszystkiego były już pociągnięte

Ja mam dość bogatą i nie mam oświetlenia schowka, masakra z tymi wersjami wyposażeniowymi.

Gdzie kupiłeś tą lampke?

Jeśli dobrze pamiętam, to na pobliskim szrocie. Ale czasem warto spytać w oplu, bo np. plastikowy daszek do wyświetlacza radia kupiłem w serwisie taniej niż gdziekolwiek indziej. Nawet na internecie.
