I read this story a few weeks ago (possibly on the cultures for health FB page) and it didn't add up then either. That news report said she'd been drinking wine earlier that day, but it was the kombucha that put her over the limit... Really...? I've read other news reports (some from Australia) stating an individual has been on a night out as designated driver, so drinking 6-10 commercial Kombuchas, and this has put them over the limit. They have only been slightly over the limit, so this scenario makes sense. Regular people, drinking 1 or 2 glasses a day should have no problems.
Thank you all for watching the video! I have a few more things to say so I'll just write them here! Louise had also been drinking wine before the incident, and when it was brought up in court, her explanation for this kept changing, so this is ultimately one of the reasons why she was found guilty. on top of this, I understand that it is possible to make alcoholic kombucha, however, my point for this is how unlikely it would be for her friend to not know she was making Alcoholic Kombucha, especially if she found the recipe online. The story is just really unlikely and I honestly don't believe it was the kombucha that got her drunk. I am not saying anyone's opinion that differs from mine is wrong. like i said this is my opinion, and if anyone disagrees with my opinion, I would love to hear your argument for it. no judgment at all!
This is really interesting! She seems a bit suspicious of you ask me. I’d love to see more videos like this :)

Commercial kombucha has next to zero alcohol so that one doesn’t add up either! It’s a crazy story and doesn’t put kombucha in the best of lights :/
