After that it was simple af dodging eligos in phase 3 by hiding behind shit and gunning him down while dodging his ranged attacks.
What I really like about this game is that while this is overpowered, it's not broken. She's easy to kill if singled out and can be deadly if possessed.
i definitely have a hard time getting killed when solo. it’s usually when the demon focuses on me for a good fraction of the game, but a good Amanda will definitely make you work for that kill. and stay on it lolol
A word of caution for anyone using Amanda though You have to manage your fear very very well with her If you dont play alone, have friend play Support Ash so he can use his ability to make sure you never get possessed because any great Demon will simply possess you and you will kill your entire team with the amount of damage you put out with this build. I rock this build every single night since its come out and let me tell you, Ive killed my entire team plenty of time by being possessed until I learned how to function better around my fear meter
I will say the only difference in the build i use for her is instead of 3 points into the 1st skill in her perk tree, Long Shot, I put the 2 extra points into Staying Power for that juicy increase in her stamina and instead of 2 points in Quicker Cooldown for her ability, I opt for only 1 point into that and the final point to go to Artful Dodger. Reason being is the final point in Artful Dodger goes from a 15 to 20 increase to a whopping 15% additional bonus to reduction of stamina cost reduction making you an absolute menace if the Demon becomes their boss and tries to target you down. In game you should have 5 points of Range, 5 points into Stamina for that 25% increase in stamina regen and you'll never have to worry about not being able to dodge a hit from anything as long as you're on your toes. Ive had bosses straight up give up on targeting me knowing its just a waste of their time but the moment they go for my teammates I pop them in the head and they die almost immediately. Again this is only if you're smart with your fear. Fighting indoors and under lights helps if you can get lucky enough. Otherwise Id say stick with your teammates to reduce that fear build up but if you're put in a bad situation dont be afraid to pop shots at anything. You have infinite ammo remember? So use it well by targeting the boss immediately, elites coming 2nd in priority or any unit that targets your support especially if the Demon is possessing that unit. Good luck.
yep i found one guy play amanda and when i possessed her i can kill entire team really easy Because she can do really high dmg i just let mobs play with them and possessed amanda and kill them one by one
becoming possessable is an inevitability in the late stages of a match, especially in the necro meta with a shitload of skeletons pulsing fear and the demon hitting you with demon dashes, you just have to communicate when you think you're about to be possessed and put yourself in melee range of your warriors
I came up with this build yesterday but for ed. His bow already does bonus damage. I've been able to clear out units like they're made of paper. Honestly build is viable with any one shot weapon, or even the double barrel since you'd get your last bullet buff every so often.
@@einzplug6737 imo it is sheerly be cause of the level 25 power and the fact a crossbow on him does tremendous damage when you figure out how to use it proper, plus the trap disabling thing is busted.
I think Ed2 ash is better. easy counter possession on teammates for utility and the same (honestly better) boss killing potential with the double barrel shotty. only downside is you're using long ammo which everyone loves to use so if your warriors are big dumbs and hog the ammo could be an issue also the chest sight through walls and out of the humming sound range can save time and get you chests you might not have heard
The question is how useful actually is the first perk with increased range if this game is more focussed in close range encounters , also i feel cuz u focus more into closer range anyway from the skill where u get 25% dmg increase in a 16 yards thereshold the first perk becomes even more pointless. Personally id say it would be better to put 1 more point in tighter spread so shotguns have better hit box and take away 1 point from artful dodger skill and max out the stamina bar which would be way more beneficial.
Just had a cool idea for a new character. Time Traveler Ash He would look like he does in the alternate ending of "Army of Darkness". Ragged robes and a long grey beard. His could have an ability, where he drinks a sleeping potion. He is unable to move for 7 secs, but his health regenerates rather fast.
ED2 ash gives a 30% damage boost to double barrel shotty, he sees chests through walls and he can remove possession which is one of the strongest tools for the killer. I prefer him. Ed with crossbow is good as well
Yeah I agree. Amanda should be the best boss killer with pistol if only her pistol is not bugged. Right now all hunters can do the almost the same damage as her or more and she doesn't have a great survivability unlike Kelly who can dodge all day, or Ash ED2 who can remove possessions against those pesky elites.
Yeah I’ve been running Just builds since the second days of that game came out. Also preferred to put more points into dodging or stamina. Because especially when demon possessed something or summons the boss. Dodging is the only way that you’re going to survive it. With this build you had to be a master of dodging. Because a demon will specially will target you. Especially at the end of the game
Even when you feel like you’re about get possessed as Amanda, you can always drop your weapon once you get feared. The demon would instantly try to possess you once you’ve reach the fear threshold. I’ve always mind games the demon thinking they mind gamed me ;)
As a demon main I encourage this, more ammo to insta kill entire teams. Also to those who say survivors are overpowered I am on a 24 win streak as demon. So either I'm a god (not likely) or there are imbalances on both sides and weird counter play. The game JUST came out. Give it a month or two and a lot of these issues like animation canceling will hopefully be addressed. If they don't we have another DBD on our hands. Also I'd like to point out that a full team with comms that stick together with a support, 2 hunters, and an Annie is probably the teams that has caused me the most grief. So to those that have a hard time against demon and you have a full team you play with maybe give that a shot. Imagine an Annie was with this build, you'd easily one-shot bosses.
the only time I lose as survivor with pugs is vs necromancer, even bad players are good, just buff elite, traps on house, flautist inside top floor nd possess, youll be over level in no time, its crazy easy, I think its getting nerfed for sure especially how strong the flautist buffs already tanky skeletons

So basically this build is great if been using this exact build since day one with kelly but let me tell you if the clock onto your power fast they are going to possess you and take out your team with one shot. i have clips where i got possessed and he used my kelly to one shot the whole team and my kelly was on low hp so when i got un-possessed that was it game over insta down. use this with caution
It’s an interesting mechanic. Seems on the surface broken 2k dmg with one shot. But if possessed that can turn very quickly. I hope they can keep that type of action and counter play balanced in the game and it doesn’t degenerate into Kelly dancing around the point fighting nobody but being unkillable just by running. Games will always be amazing as long as there are counters.
Whenever i play demon and it gets into that late game when i have max possesion, any hunter i can manage to possess can easily wipe an entire team, so the hunter needs to manage their fear really well and have the right characters on team, like hunter ashs ability or support ash which removes fear
@@OkMiddi yes exactly. Heroes will get smart about this and start dropping guns if their fear gets too high. I honestly don’t mind this as long as there is counterplay.
