By far the worst officiated game I've ever seen. The PI call (made on the field by a ref that was 8 yards from the play) is normally not reviewable, but all you have to do in Texas is dump a landfill of trash on the field, and you'll get the outcome you want. The refs CAN and SHOULD HAVE flagged the fans (15 yard penalty, repeatable), but, instead proved to the students that they can get their way by misbehaving and intimidation.
If this display had happened in Athens, our crowd would've been trashed forever. In Austin, apparently, it's no biggie. Just a "Texas thing," where everything's bigger and better.

not sure anyone came after them but judge them on their struggles. Also espn didnt doubt them but commented on how they had been playing. Greg actually picked them and UGA keeps forgetting Kirby is being dealt with kid gloves due to his softness. He literally shoved a player with no real actions from the SEC in order to yell at refs. The only doubts were if they would actually show up and tbf the offense barely did with a QB that further hurt his draft stock.

This game was never close. The refs and UGA recievers made it seem kinda… nah, it was a blowout.
Score could easily have been 45-10.

targeting makes it too easy to fix games, period. As college football moves away from the ncaa, you will see more and more of it
The first targeting call was legit. The second one wasn't. His left shoulder impacted first (in the sternum) and the crown of his helmet hit the receiver's left chest milliseconds later. If you're laid out (like diving into a pool) trying to make a tackle, it's pretty hard not to have the opening of your helmet facing the turf; that's human anatomy. If you're upright, then you'd more often make the tackle with your face mask angled upward. It's always a judgement call, but targeting should be really obvious, intent-wise, and it wasn't in this case. It was made by refs who were intimidated by 100,000 unruly fans.
💯💯 Go back and watch the targeting no-call in the Miami / Cal game 😳 on TH-cam. It was the most egregious targeting hit I've seen in years and they reviewed it and decided NO TARGETING 😳😳 because Miami would've lost the game because of it....UNFREAKINGBELIEVABLE

Leading up to this game Texas had wins against Michigan (4-3), Mississippi State (1-6), and Oklahoma (4-3). Texas had not played anybody before Georgia. They were way overhyped. Remember Archie scored about 3+ TDs against UTSA and saying he should be considered in the Heisman race? LOL I wouldn't be surprised if Vanderbilt beat Texas at this point.
My over reaction was Beck has to get better.... After watching the replay i saw one reciever run the wrong route which was one INT. One reciever tipped a pass up and that was two INT. One reciever never turned on the stop route and ran into the DB which was the third INT... I honestly dont think Beck played bad. Recievers are the weakness of this whole team

I agree to an extent but I don’t think Beck has the ice in his veins when the game is on the line like Stetson did. Lot of games left so hopefully he can improve and we win out.
Bama game was a different story. But, in this game, I agree. The interceptions and several conversions were on the recievers and not beck. People fail to understand that the ball is already in the air when the reciever breaks his route. You don't throw to where he is but rather where he's supposed to be. If reciever breaks the wrong way the db is watching the pass from point of release.....looks like a bad pass. And how do you lay tipped ball on qb?

It wasn't beck. One wrong route, one tipped pass be receiver, and one pass the receiver didn't even turn to see the pass on the stop route. Beck was not responsible for any of the INTs
@@SlickMcVega It definitely was Beck. I rewatched the game and he was missing easy passes all game. And then when he did make a good throw the WRs would drop it. So Beck and the WRs were all bad outside of a few plays.

I had no rooting interest in this game, but that CALL was total BS. Now we know referees CAN be intimidated. Now let every home game be like that. SEC just screwed up big time for supporting that type of officiating behavior.

Hats off to Georgia and their fans for a great game. 👏👏👏. That was one hell of a game plan that was brilliantly executed by your defense.
Our offense just went up against better talent. Period. No excuses. You exposed our weaknesses in the process. You manhandled our O-line, confused the hell out of our QBs with brilliantly disguised defenses, didn’t go for all the gimmicky misdirection Sark uses that takes forever to execute and showed that we haven’t yet faced a team with your kind of front 7 until this game. Plus your secondary did a great job as you said all night.
Hopefully, we can learn a lot from this game and reset expectations because the stuff that worked on other lesser teams clearly doesn’t work with an elite team like Georgia.
Btw guys, I was totally embarrassed and appalled by the childish behavior from the student section at the game. No excuse for throwing crap on the field when a bad call doesn’t go your way.
I thought your two players that came back from injury were amazing - Williams and your center I think plus your DEs that kept beating our left and right tackles all game.
