Blackhawk is absolutely the best hotel in the Dells! The rooms are always clean and well maintained. The family that runs Blackhawk is absolutely amazing. We just stayed there in June and plan on coming back in October. We refuse to stay anywhere else when we go to the dells. Brad is always friendly and is amazing for suggestions for the area.
Super surprised by these top two! They’re the first ones you see when coming into the dells from hwy 13. Thanks for showing the ins and outs of both Blackhawk and Amber!!! Totally would have thought Kalahari or Great Wolf!
Brad and his family do a great job with the motels! I have never seen such clean rooms. Check your email when you get a second. I just need some info from last week. I hope you are having a great weekend! 😀
been staying there since 1979. my favorite place anywhere. how many hotels can you play pinball at anymore? and since you're from wisconsin, might i recommend a trip to District 82 Pinball in DePere?
Nothing like the home feel of black hawk motel, we stay there every time for our yearly Wisconsin dells trip. RANDOM FACT: In 2008 lake Delton had drained out within 2 hours!
Hi again... you are my winner from this video for a pair of Knuckleheads tickets in Wisconsin Dells! Congratulations!! Please email me at maverickhayeschannel@gmail.com so I can get your information. Please email by 8/17/24 or the tickets will be voided out. Thanks so much for watching!
What impact does Wisconsin Dells have on tourism in the state? Well, it is to the tune of $150 million sent on food, entertainment, and some shenanigans. Who needs Disneyland or Six flags? When you've got wisconsin dells, right in your backyard. Love the videos. Keep up the good work.
Riverview is the oldest park, yes Noah’s Ark comes in second and Mt Olympus ( was Family Land) the year that Noah’s Ark opened up my sister and I worked at a motel that was Named The Continental it was so much fun working there and when Noah’s Ark opened up we were there the first day) so there you have it.) I was 15 back then and I’m almost 61. I was totally shocked to hear what the top 2 Motels/ Hotels were in the Dells. Great video. Barb Baraboo, Wi
I remember constantly perusing TripAdvisor for years and wondering why BlackHawk is #1. Honestly...I think it comes down to local loyalty. Sometime I'll get the nerve to stay there. Edit: Amber's looks quite nice. Reminds me a lot of the Tamarack.
I stay at BlackHawk every year! Great bang for your buck!
They do offer a lot for a motel and it's so clean!

That great wolf lodge was opened in may 1997 and 4 to 5 million people go to the Wisconsin dells
It's hard to believe Great Wolf has been around that long. The first one in the chain too 😉

The Dells is an income generator for sure. Thank you for watching! 😀
In what year did the WI Dells Wonder Spot close?
Early 2000s for sure. They sold the property to Lake Delton. Now the LA Quinta hotel sits on the property
Fun fact: What is the name of the oldest water park in Wisconsin Dells?
Out of the big parks it would be Noah's Ark. I think Riverview was around before Noah's though. I know Noah's Ark opened in 1978. Am I right?
@@MaverickHayes I thought it was the Polynesian. I don’t know the answer to my own question ha ha

Sir Gooney's had the first waterslides in the dells. riverview added their water slide around 1976 or so. noah's ark opened in 1979

If you're looking for friendly, clean, comfortable, and cheaper than the waterpark resorts, I don't think you will go wrong with either property. 😉
At over 130 per night i think more people stay at the dirty mt olympus for cheaper................... David gruber
