The Air Force will appoint its 18th Chief Master Sergeant of The Air Force during a ceremony on 17 February, 2017 on Joint Base Andrews. In his last official act before retiring, Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James Cody relinquished the duties and responsibilities of the Air Force's highest enlisted leader to Chief Master Sgt. I always liked Chief Cody, such an outgoing great guy and a wonderful Airman! Chief I thank you for your 32+ yrs of service, for making the Air Force so much better and definitely do wish you and all your family well and much success in all of your future endeavors sir!
