What if you’re doing new roof do you do it just like that cut the rubber roof around the vent and then seal it with that fiber and the poly stuff that you have
whatever is available in the area. Liberty by GAF is good but Mulehide brand is also good then what you saw on the video is the 1 st time using it. They all seem to work good

the only place you can buy that turbo poly seal is from his website so this is nothing but an info mercial you can buy the same stuff from home depot or lowes just a diff name
Just so you know industry standard on vertical flashing height is minimum 8 inches high. Secondly you should have cleaned the old sealant from the pipe so that your new flashing is adhered to the pipe itself not the old sealant which will continue to degrade. Learn good roofing practices.
I am a Alberta flat roofer and I alone could out work your crew and and save more money then you metal last forever but when it covered in shit yeah it rust fast

That's is some work that I have never seen before wasting all that metal and mastic man you don't even have a vent high enough if the drain get plugged all the water is going to bathrooms not to mention looks like shit
He is so high that he even sees a lot of metal wasted... I don't see a single piece of metal here, he needs to find a better supplier because whatever he's getting is just killing his brain slowly. Thanks for all the information Doc, I would rather try to do the project myself than paying ridiculous and unfair amounts of money
These applications leak after a few years ,I've had a rubber roof installed.its not a great system they faulter ,as all other chimney to asphalt shingles do ,they haven't met up with the times ,roofs should last for a long time the never do , I've live in ten houses ,ten leaked with these product ,they pull away or crack.🤔
This is one way to fleece a customer.

Old video. Hes doing a bitumen system. Rubber...if you use silicon you're a hack. Use primer, and uncured like a real roofer

I guess you just like to give your opinion. This is a slanted roof. No drains. No vents"high enough" Maybe you need a vent to get the smoke out.
