You're doing a video where you really want to highlight the car but your video is being blown out. You might want to adjust the exposure a little more so that the highlights aren't blown out. Thanks for the info though. Interestingly, the waterless foam brand Rubbit recommends using the towel sides in reverse. The rougher side is used to wipe the dirt and the finer side is used to polish off the car. I find thsr makes more sense to grab up large dirt particles than the way you've shown here. To each their own though.
This was a fantastic instruction video. I have to admit i was hesitant to try products from a new company. But after trying the rinseless wash i am fully on board now. I just ordered a few kits and took advantage of your spring sale for some good discounts. Fantastic products, very good shipping rates , and excellent customer service. What else could you want ?
I'm not a huge fan of Waterless washes but they have their place in the detailing space and they work well with proper techniques. With that being said I was ecstatic with Yvan's towel methodology because I've been using the same process with towel management and interesting enough it tends to be three towels used. This is the same reason I love three to six pack towel packs!
Congratulations on the excellent new produce! This is a must have in your vehicle at all times along with a microfiber. Perfect for cleaning finger prints off glass or the nav screen. When going on vacation I am the guy who will wash the family truckster while everyone else is sleeping in. Just bring a half dozen microfiber towels for that job. Thank you for the video!
love the demo guys, like always amazing explanation and looks like a great product. Have a couple of questions for you: 1. How does this product differ from DIY Rinseless diluted 64:1? Im sure is different and there are some secrets but what can you say that is an advantage with the waterless vs the rinseless at that concentration? 2. Is this just a pure cleaner or does it contain gloss enhancers? 3. Using the low pile first, wont that cause more marrying risk because the dirt have no place to go as its getting pulled off the surface, different that if you use the plush side first the dirt can go between the fibers?
Thanks! 1 a Rinseless at a stronger concentration is OK, but no where near the performance. A dedicated waterless wash gives you better emulsification, lubrication, and safety. A highly concentrated Rinseless can also be streaky. 2 yes it has ceramic and gloss enhancers. 3 the low nap is just as safe, plus it will be a better at cleaning with less passes.
Very exciting! Does the waterless have some attributes in common with the rinseless wash, such as added surfactants (in addition to emulsifiers & polymers), the ability to foam, etc? I assume the major difference is that the waterless is a lot more lubricating, and not dilutable?
Would you recommend the waterless wash over rinseless for bird bombs? Currently have a bottle of 256:1 rinseless that I have in my car at all times. Thanks!
good morning, for when it goes on sale, and why you can't make it concentrated, or perhaps formulate concentrated RinleSio2 that can also be used waterproof style, Quik detailer, etz etz... with their respective dilution for each one...
Serious question- So what’s the real difference between a waterless wash and a quick detailer? Feels like marketing speak to give a different name to the same thing.
You said mitigate scratches. Meaning make less severe so you're saying using this will produce some stratching but using this technique will mitigate it.
Waterless washes life up more dirt/ grime, quick detailers are good for drying aids, water spots after a wash etc..you can use them the same as waterless essentially but it's not as safe for heavier dirt/grime
Waterless washes provides a lot more lubrication and emulsification than a quick detailer. I pretty much only use quick detailers as a drying aid for an already clean car.
A quick detailer like DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss works well to provide protection, but doesn’t clean. Our Waterless was is first and foremost a cleaner. It also leaves a bit of protection behind.
Colour is a strange thing. Different dyes react differently in the chemistry. Some will have a negative effect, some are stable. In this formula blue was the best choice.
This is going to be an incredible product that every person should have a bottle of in their car, especially for bird bomb & other bad things for the paint, that way you can immediately spray abs remove it before it has time to hurt the clearcoat. Hopefully you’ll sell them in gallons. Can’t wait for this, but ESPECIALLY the ceramic rinseless. That’s going to be a game changer.
As per Dr. G from Optimum re: Opti-Clean Waterless Wash vs ONR: "Opti-Clean contains the same polymers in No Rinse that encapsulate dirt but at a much higher concentration than No Rinse QD as well as other polymers not used in No rinse that offer more lubricity and gloss. You do get some level of UV protection from the reflection effects as well as some sacrificial UV protection (the polymers breaking down rather than the paint)." Considering Ivan had a big role at Optimum, I'd wager the same applies to DIY WW vs Rinseless. i.e. Polymers/lubricants that provide UV protection and gloss.
In our case it’s very different chemistry. Instead of adapting a Rinseless to be a Waterless, we started from the ground up. While a Rinseless can be made into a waterless, it’s a compromise, we were not willing to accept those compromises.

This is the best waterless wash I’ve ever used!!! ZERO STREAKS! Great video as always very informative.💪💪 can’t wait for the release date.
Awesome! Thank you!
Yes always find a thin layer of dust the day after a wash and this is perfect
@@marinam7886 yes. This is the best way to tackle them! Especially during pollen season.
Another good one. Pollen season requires a combination of Rinseless and Waterless washes in the north eastern United States.
Great point!

Can’t wait to get my hands on this product! Especially in vegas with severe water restrictions.
Hopefully soon.
Hopefully. Thank you

Why didnt you use the high shaggy side of the towel for the cleaning part? Thanks a lot for the great video!

@@diydetailofficial thanks a lot!!!
Love the explanation, I will be buying a gallon then
Nice work guys. Sounds like something great to have in the saddlebag when I go for a motorcycle ride.
Definitely!
The purple towel you have. Is that the one on your site that’s says standard edgless buffing towel. Description doesn’t say if it had 2 diff sides. ?
Yes it is

Some of the same attributes such as safety and lubrication, it does not foam, nor is it dilutable.
Great demo. This one will be a hit.
Thank you

Yes, that’s a great application for it.
Amazing! Can’t wait for it to be available!
We are excited as well 😊
Very soon!
Can’t wait to try it. Hope it comes out soon I can use it now during pollen season
We are hoping for before summer
Great! I love your vids. Without prewash waterles or rinsleless method is safer??
Both are roughly the same, technique is more important
Why "mitigate a scratch risk" instead of washing it properly in a way that is the least likely to scratch paint?
We are both saying the same thing.

Thanks for inf.
Hello, great content as usual. Are you all going a certification on your ceramic coating?
No need.
@DIY Detail thank you. I can't wait to try your new ceramic coating
Patiently waiting for the waterless wash.
The wait is almost over.
Serious question- So what’s the real difference between a waterless wash and a quick detailer? Feels like marketing speak to give a different name to the same thing.
Quick detailers are not designed to emulsify dirt like a waterless wash.
Any updates on the gallon size Waterless Wash?
As we transition to our new warehouse we will have space for that and more
Yes I'm waiting for it too
You should have a link we can actually click on.
The Waterless Wash isn’t out just yet…
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!
I'm going to assume this will come as an RTU to follow the DIY "ease of use" philosophy.....but will there be a gallon concentrate size for the pro's?
You’ll have to wait and see 😀 haha final details are still being worked on
Yes this is RTU, still working on gallons, but a concentrated version is something we are working on.
You said mitigate scratches. Meaning make less severe so you're saying using this will produce some stratching but using this technique will mitigate it.
When done properly you can eliminate scratches completely, but it all comes down to technique.
Hello! Did this one ever make it to market? Of not, will it still be coming out?
We are impatiently waiting for labels
Yo Nick - where is the beautiful moustache and the 80’ haircut been going 😢😅
This was filmed in September! Not to worry lol
@@diydetailofficial thank god
Can you use ceramic gloss as a quick touch up or does it have to be clean
Waterless wash or Rinseless Wash is best if you’re trying to touch up a dusty or lightly dirty car
Is your rinseless product compatible with matte paint from the factory?
Yep!
When will this be available?
Before summer
Thanks!
Any word on the release of the new waterless wash?
Still waiting on labels my friend
Are you gonna have a rinseless wash and wax/sio2?
That’s in the plans
😮 Nick got a haircut 😂
Unfortunately not
Doesn’t a quick detailer accomplish the same thing?

Do a acid wash and call it a day. Stop wasting your time with these colorful chuckie cheese products.
@@MHal312 super bad idea dude, acid is hard on the paint, trim, and you.
Why is it blue ?

Is the waterless just a more concentrated rinseless or is it something totally different in terms of its chemistry?
