Midi skirts forever! They really are, along with midi dresses, the backbone of my wardrobe. As for the shorter boots, adding tights that match the skirt and/or boots help keep the line long. I think that flash of pale skin between the boot and skirt doesn’t flatter us women who aren’t very tall.
Honestly I’m under 40 (25) and I find this midi skirt video MUCH better than the younger ones. This is very elegant, just ordered a taupe/cream satin midi skirt from Alice+olivia and plan on wearing for summer somehow.
I love love love a midi skirt. Maybe because I am older now I am not always thrilled to show my legs in a short skirt unless I am wearing tights. And, even then I feel a bit "off" like I am trying too hard to look young but not really fooling anyone. =). I actually really like blue and green together in the summer. But, it does need to be the perfect shade of each to really work. xoxo
I love the simplicity of your programme & the fact you don't promote designers & prices & must have a bag that costs $ 2000 dollars as other presenters do, we have to be realistic as most of us could never afford to purchase the items they are advertising.
Love this video! Great versatile looks! I absolutely love skirts and so happy to see younger women wearing midi skirts. I think any body type/shape can wear a midi! Thank you!
LOVED this! Thank you. Wonderful examples. I totally agree with you about the lower ankle boots and a midi skirt. It appears the leg has been chopped off.
Great looks some of the skirts I loved, I love cashmere sweaters and midi skirts in the winter. They all were so beautifully put together I wanted them all.
Some fantastic looks, my skirts are all pencil ...just not a fan of any other skirts ... even though all the ones on here look fantastic Enjoy your day xx 😘😘
It’s now three years after you posted this great video. I’m a skirt and dress wearer, as much as possible. As much as I love my midis, I’m also looking forward to the knee-length skirts that are coming in this spring (2023). I like to show as much of my legs as is age-appropriate (I’m 62), and I think women of any age can wear knee-length. My slim legs are my best figure feature. I was lucky to inherit them, my Grandma’s legs in her 80s still looked like a 20-year old’s, both shape-wise and skin-wise. I sometimes get mocked for “still wearing pantyhose”, but it’s always just my bare legs! I would only wear skin-colored nylons if I got invited to meet a head-of-state or something like that and that’s never going to happen! I do wear dark tights for warmth, as needed, but they’re not very comfy. If I can get away with it, like at home, I wear long socks instead.
Wonderful outfits on here, that look fantastic. A city look. Every outfit looks good, but only work with heels. So obviously, if you live in a more rustic environment, midi skirts will not work.
I loved the style n color combination of skirts n tops n boots. I wanted to know is there another option for footwear instead of boots to wear with midis n skirts?it's too hot here to wear boots out all time.please suggest. Thanks a lot.
Love your "get to it" utube attitude and channel. You show some great! outfits. I always wish I could take a picture of the outfits you find and share. Is there a way I can capture/save some of these pics?
Love them and I purchased a satin one at Target after you show a midi cream one in your last video. I’m not into pleats thank you for your channel and bringing such beautiful styles,❤️
I have a lot of skirts I’d like to wear this fall but I’ve put on some weight around my waist and feel like it looks too chunky. Your video confirmed it. Only slim women can wear skirts. ☹️
Ara Same here. My midi’s are tea length on me, but they do look great at that length with knee length boots or heels. Bias cut skirts are very flattering at that length.
We can use woolen tights underneath, leotards, etc. in case of extreme cold we could use double of those, paired with high boots with polar material on the inside can make the trick of keeping you warmer than with actual pants... with skirts we have more options of layering underneath clothing for warmth purposes God bless you and your loved ones 🤗💚✨
@@Gemmawhattowear Yes, jeans are always the simplest solution, but if they all wear them, it will be uniform and it's not really female ... If you wear a skirt, you will already stand out on the street, because it is no longer common. One is then quickly considered conservative or retrograde. This is actually a German phenomenon ... I don't like it.
Hi. You are a stylish women. Your video is so beatiful. I think it goes quikly. You can make vidoes more detail and fotograph and slowly in the photos. Thank you
They look nice, but you dont speak about the practicality and purpose of clothing which is PROTECTION and COMFORT. YOU forgot to mention what do we put under the skirt and shirts to keep the heat. Not many people wear high geels, sandals or skincolor leggings since from 5degrees to -15 degeees C you face cold blizzards on way to work, sidewalk iceslide, 15cm of snow and ice, heavy rains etc. Are you only speaking to a tiny audience, dont forget there are moms, old ladies, city walkers(NO CAR) who are interested in wearing winter skirt. ALSO Satin skirt doesnt work in winter, and you should better know that. Most important thing in winter is not get sick, right?
If you wear opaque tights in a color similar to the color of the ankle boots, it looks quite attractive. But generally speaking, knee high boots are the best option.
I really appreciate your channel and the fact that you insert many pictures rather than purchasing all the items and contributing to consumerism.
Or just talk without examples, fashion is such a visual thing.
I love midi skirts! They're elegant and sofisticated. Beautiful outfits in neutral colours! Thank you for your time ! 👢
All the outfits are gorgeous! Timeless.. even 2 years later they look on point. Thank you

Great video! Almost every outfit transcends time. I’m SO into classic looks now!
Great looks some of the skirts I loved, I love cashmere sweaters and midi skirts in the winter. They all were so beautifully put together I wanted them all.

Nice skirts...Im currently in to midi-skirts... It's just too cold for me to wear something shorter.
Fabulous looks
Excellent video once again. I appreciate the designer look for less video because you keep the look classy and not cheap
Thank very much for your ideas I love your videos 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🙏
I'm definitely not over 40, just halfway there. However this video was really nice actually, very straight to the point :)

I have been clearing out my closet over the last couple of days, preparing for a New Year, and I have been absolutely loving your videos! 🥰
Love them and I purchased a satin one at Target after you show a midi cream one in your last video. I’m not into pleats thank you for your channel and bringing such beautiful styles,❤️
I have one from Target too. A blue one and I love it!
Love those skirts!
Amazing, I have just one question, what shoes to wear during the winter time with skirts that have a slit in the leg?
I’d still wear knee high boots but with tights underneath
Thank you! Beautiful!
Hi what’s your thoughts on skin tone tights with midi and ankle, I love the look but not so with bear legs . Rita
Danke from Germany !

I remember Grace Kelly wearing something like that camel matching set in the 60's
I’m trying to help. I think that blog is correct.
Thank you. I was trying to find out what did burgundy go with and I know now...baby blue. Who would have known? Well...Victoria Beckem....
I love your channel.

Great collection of images ! Thx
Very nice, but uncle boots with midi skirt is not my option! Thank you
Me gusta mucho el contenido de sus videos, usted luce como una persona muy elegante. Felicidades
I tried the links but they said it was inactive is there something wrong by the I love the style.
Thanks so much. I think it’s because they’re quite old now.
Do you think it's ok to wear thick denier or wooly black tights with a midi skirt and ankle boots?
I think that’s ok
I love all of them and your accent!!😊
Thanks Jemma!!!!👍🏻👌🙌
Very lovely thank you
Hola cómo está? Usted siempre tan elegante, todos sus videos son geniales gracias por darnos estás estupendas idea .
That was perfect thank you
This is all me ...and of course i love it.
Thank you
I’m 27 this is my style and how I always try to dress #modest looks my Pinterest board lol

Is there a link to the very first look all tan wool midi ?
It’s this one rstyle.me/cz-n/dwbidiyt36
I’m really short and midi skirts hit just above my ankle should I still wear one. I really hate have to pay to tailor one.
I have the same problem 🙄
Ara

Lovely, but I've a question: how you don't freeze?
Woolen tights

Here in Germany most women no longer wear skirts. Everyone walks around in jeans. I think that's unfeminine. ... skirts are more elegant.
It’s a shame, I guess jeans are the easy option
@@Gemmawhattowear Yes, jeans are always the simplest solution, but if they all wear them, it will be uniform and it's not really female ...

It’s the same here in California, either jeans or gym leggings. I just prefer the comfort of a skirt, so wear them regardless of what others do.
Hi. You are a stylish women. Your video is so beatiful. I think it goes quikly. You can make vidoes more detail and fotograph and slowly in the photos. Thank you
I sometimes think that a midi with a blazer looks a bit frumpy, especially if you’re older anyway!
Not me!
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾👍👌❤️❤️❤️
There all from magazines of course they look fab I thought
She couldn’t show us so many great options using her own wardrobe, no one has that many clothes. Besides, I don’t see how it makes any difference.

Ankle boots with a midi skirt looks unattractive, IMO. It is so much more feminine with taller boots.
If you wear opaque tights in a color similar to the color of the ankle boots, it looks quite attractive. But generally speaking, knee high boots are the best option.
One more “really” and my head might explode.
Well I really enjoyed it
Fabulous outfits.
