New subscriber here! I’ve never seen your videos before, TH-cam hasn’t brought you to my doorstep until today. As soon as I heard you acknowledging our Lord and Savior I hit the subscribe button. How awesome to see creatives and makers live unashamed and grateful for our Lord’s blessings. ❤❤❤ Now I have to go back and watch all your videos. ❤❤❤ 😊
Hello, Ingrid! I am elated with the result! Your creativity and the love and patience that you put into everything you do is deeply inspiring. Thank you for sharing!😊☀️🙏🏻
Love your demeaner and your creativity. Thank you for the tape video. Never seen this before. I will definitely be trying this. Love the words of the Bible. Thank you God bless you.
Love this idea and can't wait to give it a try!! I loved both of the styles of tape you did and I too will try both! Thank you so much for sharing this fabulous idea!! 😊❤
Amen! I watch a lot of journal making videos and I just found this one by you …I don’t have the sound on as I am a caregiver and when I saw the scripture come across the screen- I subscribed! ❤
Hi, Ingrid! I am so happy to hear you are feeling much better. This tape is wonderful and I am anxious to make some. I made a little discovery myself today. I use white 2-ply paper towels in my kitchen. I pulled them apart and saw they had their own embossed and debossed design. So, I rubbed some inks on and liked it. So now I can add paper towels to my gauze, used dryer sheets and drywall tape as a cheap layering piece! Let me know if you have tried it before, please.
Hello there, wow i got your video link on a JJ swap forum and i am soooo grateful, the moment the scripture came up on the screen i was like WOWWW PRAISE JESUS CHRIST... and after i finished reading it i had to pause and subscribe to your channel... and also wow and wow on this idea... its fantastic.... going to watch further... msy our ABBA continue to Bless you
I just bought fabric tape (first aid) at Dollar Tree! What a coincidence that I came on YT to watch your video this morning! I thought when I bought it I could turn it in to washi tape. Now I HAVE to try it!! Thank you!
Actually I discovered it was a different type of first aid tape. It was a lot thinner tape and narrower but I think it worked well and could also be used as washi tape. I had fun making different designs!
Got just 20 minutes in and I'm yelling to no one in the room, "I LOVE this!." The tape is awesome, and I have a lot left over from some icky times. lol Come to think of it, I have a couple bottles of this cotton gauze type ribbon used for stuffing injuries to heal that would probably be great dyed.
I'm glad you're feeling better. Thank you so much for this video, I love this idea and can see it done in lots of ways and your water 🤗🥰colored stamped images are gorgeous!
I drove right down to Dollar tree and bought what was called 'athletic tape'. I wasn't sure it was the same thing you used Ingrid but once I got it home and unwrapped it it was the same tape.
Hi Ingrid! LOVED your Medical Fabic Tape hack. They’re just beautiful! 1) What is the yellow thing you are using to rub onto your clear stamps and why? 2) what type of large Watercolor set are you using and where did you get it? 3) where did you find the long numbered rotary hand stamp and whose the manufacturer? Thanks so much!
Hi Julia! I’m so happy you enjoyed the video!! 1. The yellow thing is an eraser. I’ve heard that it helps with clear stamps…I think I see a difference 😅 3. The rotary stamp is from Daiso. Unfortunately all of the writing is non English. If you want a screenshot of the packaging, send me a message on Instagram. 2. The watercolors have an interesting story. They were a treat that I asked my husband for, for my Birthday. I knew that I wanted Daniel Smith, so I took screenshots of all of the available colors and and made a palette using the pictures. Then I found a seller on Etsy that created pans of Daniel Smith watercolors (in short what it means is, the seller took tubes of the watercolor and cured them into little square pots). Now as for the bottom portion, those are Mei Liang, from Amazon…they are fantastic! Very pigmented and not chalky at all which is rare for the price point! (They’re linked in my Amazon Storefront) I’ve been asked about my pallet, so I may make a video with a full swatches and names 💕
@ Thank you SO MUCH, for all the info. I thought I recognized the eraser, but didn’t understand what the benefit of using it on clear stamps was! I’m a new subscriber, and I was so touched by the way you talk to your audience and sharing your faith of Jesus Christ. Your artistic talents , Ingrid, are wonderful to watch and learn from. I’m probably old enough to be your grandmother but you are so refreshing to watch! Look forward to watching more of your videos!
Glad somehow I came across your video. Were did you get the medical tape and what type of glue did you use? I am new at junk journaling and love your idea. Thank you.
OK people, is it just me, or do color pencils make a VERY distinct sound when they clink together and/or get put on the table? I think it's probably because they don't have an eraser on the end, but I think they have a sound like nothing else. 'mornin' Ingrid! LOL, that medical fabric tape? That's some sticky stuff! It's ripped more than a few hairs off'a my arms over the years! 😖😖 I'm drawn to numbers too! Probably compensation for the aversion I had to them throughout all - girl, ALL - my school years! 🤣🤣 ... but the BIRDS!! I was all about the bottom two, but then you started coloring! The birds and the bees and the ferns!??! STOP with the ferns! Gorgeous, each one! One problem 'tho... #hoardable!! I mean, I'm not wrong... Lovely to see you this morning! I was MIA for a minute and you were under the weather? 🤒🤧 Glad you're feeling better. We haven't spoken in a few weeks, so I have yet to wish you a Happy New Year!! Thanks for sharing ☕ with me this morning! Hugs, MK 🤗❤🤗
It’s actually an eraser. I guess, sometimes with new stamps, they can resist the ink and when you rub an eraser across them, you create a little bit of texture. I just recently started doing it and I think that I can see a difference. 💕
Oh Carol! Covering you in prayer! Praying that it passes over you and you wake up feeling much better! Thank you for your sweet comment! I can’t wait for you to make some! 🫶🏼💕
Very beautiful and a lovely idea which I really enjoyed. However I did find watching you stamp everything and opening and closing ink pads rather tedious. It was an arty style and somewhat meditative and I loved the finished product. Great job on that but the video was just too protracted for me. 😊 I did watch until the end to see the final product.
How delighted I was watching this video. I really like the bottom two fabric washi's because of the numbers but then I liked the top two because of all the color. I can't wait to try this technique. What is in the large binder that had all the pieces; were they individual stickers and if so how did you have them adhered on the page so that they easily came off? Really awesome tutorial Ingrid. I'm so glad you showed that final image of the washi that you added into the mini journal with the bird on it so that I could see the texture of the medical tape. So cool! I really love how your videos have changed over time. You used to do quick clips with a lot of paper tearing and it was always so fast that I couldn't keep up; now your videos are very calm and slow and easy to follow. I really appreciate how you incorporate the Lord and His word. 💓💕🩷 (Carrie Kahle).
Thank you. You did a wonderful job in sharing this technique. I appreciate you. 🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤

Is this satin woven medical tape, 3m Micropore medical tape, or some other type?
Love the inks..I do like staz on much better than archival..and anything Tim Holtz
Stazon is pretty amazing and you can bet that it will not budge! I just wish it didn’t smell! 😷
@ heck no it don’t budge perfect for stamping..I’ve never noticed the smell hmm
😍🥰😍
at 35:05 what did you rub onto your stamping block? assuming it was to make the bee stick better...?
It’s actually an eraser. I guess, sometimes with new stamps, they can resist the ink and when you rub an eraser across them, you create a little bit of texture. I just recently started doing it and I think that I can see a difference. 💕
What’s medical tape. Adhesive cloth tape or the paper type?
