- My name is Jo, and on March 25, 2017 I shaved my head for the St. Baldrick's foundation to raise money for childhood cancer research!

I definitely couldn’t just do it! I don’t have the good features like she does lol But if I’m ever unfortunate enough to have a child with cancer (knock on wood) I’d definitely shave it for my kids. No damn doubt. ❤️

I wanna shave my head but I feel like we only ever seen women like you showing it off- women who still look very feminine with defined chins and necks... which is beautiful and such but I know that if I did it - I wouldnt look that way and I feel like people would see me as ugly.
silverbracelet6 bo, dont worry about that. Shaving or just cutting off your hair is really empowering. I didnt shave mine because i like styling my hair, but i had the same doubts as you have now. I also had a pretty long hair and i was growing it out ever since i can remember. And okay, i decided to cut it off because i realised i was trans and i wanted to look more masculine with short hair, but that is not a point. Just like you, i thought that i will look ugly but i did it anyway. What really surprised me is people telling me that they will destroy me if i ever grow it out again because i look BOMB like this and it fits my face soooo much better. The morale of the story is that a) dont think about what other people will think, its your hair goddammit, and you can do whatever tf you want in it b) its just hair, it will grow out again and the worst that can happen is that you have a bad haircut for a while. But it is so worth it because its really freeing and even if its not perfect, it can make you feel strong because not everybody has balls to shave off their hair. c) you never know how it will turn out and you have a great potential of looking hot. Its really an unique experience and i would always recommed it
I get what you’re saying. I just figure I’m ugly either way. I’m currently growing my hair out to donate it. Don’t think I’ll shave it off, but I might get a pixie cut.

This honestly made me so happy knowing you did this for childhood cancer research, this is the first video I saw first when I needed some confidence and wow this just really made me happy knowing there’s amazing people like you in the world who donate. I’m a fourteen year old and I did have a choice to shave my head or just let it fall out slowly. I chose to shave it cause I didn’t really want to see it all fall out slowly as the days go by. I’m about to do my 4th and final chemotherapy treatment and I’ll finally be in remission and start my road to recovery, this has definitely been a hard road but I’ve got this B). This video gave me a whole bunch of confidence about having a shaved head and I’m really really thankful for those donations to help other kids out there going through it and thank you so much for showing me you can still be beautiful with a shaved head❤️❤️❤️😄😊

I’m shaving my head in a year and I’m really excited! My hair has been through a lot of hair dye so I think it would be a good way to get rid of it and grow out my natural hair, and I also think it will be a good fresh start. You look amazing with a shaved head and you are so brave for doing it!

I grew up going to the St. Baldrick's events in Canada and I always wished I had the courage to shave my head for it. Now there's no more St. Baldrick events happening here anymore, but I've finally shaved off my hair anyways, wish it could have been for this. I just want to say it's pretty cool what you did and congrats on raising so much money for an amazing cause!

I shaved my head almost a year ago and I love it. I hope you love it. Sometimes it gets hard cause the days you can't hide when you feel poopy. You look amazing.

Aww you're so pretty! when I was 11 years old I shaved my head for st.baldricks and raised 4100 dollars and it was such an amazing experience. Sure, I was bullied and called a boy, but I don't regret it at all. Anyone that is thinking about shaving their head for this foundation or another one I recommend it!!
