the fathers at Nicea I didn't reveal anything, they affirmed what the Apostles had given to the Church and were steeped in the writings the Apostles left to make sure the tradition didn't get warped (as Arius and his many followers warped it), which present the faith Nicea proclaimed and cited the Scripture as reason to believe in Christ's Resurrection.
