This here is hard truth, but it is needed, for real. I’m glad for this conviction. May it bring true repentance in my life and the lives of all others who hear it.
I renounced a few days before Ezekiel dropped his video. I wrestled with it for about 9 months but I knew the truth. While running away from God I noticed how many others realized what I had but failed to go deeper because they didn’t want to give it up. Fortunately I was too deep in the word to deny what I had seen. Like you all said we see that Jesus came to turn son against father and mother against daughter but we don’t realize he means it. To truly love him means that by our very nature we are at enmity with the world. If we truly study why God was crucified, in addition to giving use eternal life and fulfilling prophecy, it was because his standard of holiness was a disruption to society. The blameworthy sought to kill the blameless for convicting them for their transgressions. God’s standard is offensive to our natural state of depravity.
Every time we compromise the enemy walks away and say “what a bargain!” Sheeesh.
