I bought this kirby about 2 yrs ago brand new .I used to have the gray one old one really good... anyways my problem now is that it donr pick up the fine dog hair from the carpet I used a cheap one because my new kirby won't do it ..I have checked every part of it to check thay nothing is clogged the belt is perfect the roll new bags so what's is the problem...
Exactly. I've owned one for two years and still can't learn all the ends and outs from the vids on TH-cam. It's a lot of money for something than can not learn how to use. Seems as though the Kirby company just wants to make a sale, period.

You should probably mention the part about actually putting the roller under the tray. For someone who's never used one and everything is in pieces it's necessary to explain that step. Also, you said to take the powerhead off turn from red to green but the actual motion was green to red. That may not seem like a big deal but it's confusing especially considering this is intended to be an instructional video.

You probably shouldn’t because the kirby shamooer system doesn’t match with vinegar. And the vinegar won’t clean your carpet. Always vacuum your carpet first and use a shampoo. After 10 or 15 minutes later scoop up the suds. And when your carpet is completely dried, all the left over deep down dirt is trapped by the suds. So now you can just revacuum that spot again and it will just pickup the left over dirt. Oh and kirbys also have spot remover if you have to get rid of stains on your carpet. 👍
Ummmm, I was going to switch over the Kirby to a shampoer to do my aunts rug b it this looks like trash 🗑 why the hell would I want white residue on my carpet when it was originally black . How did nobody comment or notice that ?

Kirby is a terrible carpet system. Old, outdated technology. Return it for a bissel carpet system.
